Back in the garden of Eden, Adam was told to subdue and have dominion over eveything that moved(Genesis 1:28). He did not do this,You know the story so when Eve was confronted by the serpent by her being the weaker vessel(here meaning newest creation) she was tricked into eating the forbiden fruit.She did not know what God said(Genesis 3:2).So there was the fall and we were kicked out of the garden. No more walking in the cool of the day with God,
But God allowed women to have children so there would still be a replenishing of the earth.Man got stupid and Cain killed Able and was banished from being around his kinfolk. except for the wife he took with him.Because where else did she come from,She must have been his sister.Genesis 4 comes out and tells us man gets really depraved there is alot of begotten going on and Methushael begot Lamech who started polygamy and was the second murderer in the royal family.
Further down we see in Gen.6 that the sons of God came and took the daughters of men as wives. And their were giants in the land.
So now we come to the flood and only 8 people are saved.and the Lord seen in chapter 11 of Genesis that He must confuse their language as by now they had forsaken God all together now. Man is so corrupt by now that He must punish them yet again.
So women let me get back to your worth Gen.29 read it all. This man worked 14 years for both daughters and some of you are selling yourself very cheap Because the men had to bring a dowry to the parents home before you could be married... now remember man was in a backsliding state. Now God wanted to show you that He had forgiveness ,Mercies, Grace. up comes Mary to be that willing vessel to Give birth to our Saviour Jesus Christ. Back then woman had no right's if their father died before they were married even if they were the oldest they had to stay with their brother's family.
As women had no right to own property Martha &Mary lived with their brother Lazarus.now that we have ran through all of this join me in Bible studies and get a more indepth look and to help you answer questions you can't or won't ask your Pastor's.
