Kingdom Reign
Praise be unto God who causes us to triumph! This is the time for the saints of God to establish and reign in the territories given us by The King of kings.
All across the land the prophets of God are proclaiming a shifting in the atmosphere and a new dispensation of the Spirit of God. This is wonderful news, but only if you truly understand what this means to you personally as well as the Body as a whole.
In order to fully understand and walk in the fullness of this awesome move of God we must understand the operations of the Kingdom of God. For the most part we have misinterpreted what it means to rule as a king over the territories given us by God. Let’s go into the word of God and break down His order of rule in His Kingdom.
In Exodus 19:5-6, God declared that if we were obedient to His voice and kept His covenant, we would be His special or peculiar treasure. Those whom He chose, He said would be a kingdom of priests, and a Holy Nation. In other words, He declared us, His chosen, rulers over kingdoms.
Now Deuteronomy 17:14-20 gives an insight to how we as kings are to rule. First, we have to be chosen by God for the Kingship; second, we are not to store up things for our selves; third, we are not to put the people back in bondage in order to store up things for ourselves.
I Samuel 10:25 lets us know that it is the Prophet of God’s job to set up order in the kingdom as God so directs.
The disciplinary action for the disobedience of a king to the mandates of God can be found in I Samuel 13:14 and I Kings 11:11. Simply put, your kingdom will be stripped from you and your seed if you fail to follow God’s directives.
And lastly for the sake of this study, the reason for your appointment as king is found in II Samuel 5:12. It is not for your exaltation, but it is for the sake of God’s people.
Allow me to bring this all into proper perspective. First and of utmost of importance we must understand that we are to submit and subject ourselves to ALL of God’s commands. He is the KING of kings therefore, He is in complete control and all that we do must have His seal of approval to be legal in the kingdom.
We must get rid of our preconceived notions that it is all about us. Had it not been for God’s choosing you to be counted among His children, you would be on your way to a devastatingly horrific eternity. Yes, we are God’s exalted treasures, but we are exalted that He may be glorified. It is not to give us bragging rites as to how much we have. It is to expand the kingdom and draw more people to Him.
Please hear me in your spirit; I am not saying that you should not be grateful for how God has blessed you. What I am saying is make sure you understand why you have been blessed, and submit the blessing to God and allow Him to direct you in how the blessing is to be used. There must be balance in your life. God wants you to leave a legacy for your children and your children’s children, but He also wants His widows and orphans taken care of too.
When you allow the Spirit of God to guide you in blessings, He will make sure your needs are met and the needs of others as well. A righteous king is always concerned with the subjects of his kingdom and makes sure their needs are met.
You must make sure that you are tapped into the prophetic. There must be Godly accountability present in your life. I understand that you may be operating under a prophetic anointing yourself, but there must be someone you submit yourself to for accountability whom you know are living an upright life and are subjected to the voice of God. Even the very elect can miss it sometimes, which is why God says there is wisdom in a multitude of counselors.
Please remember always, it is God who has placed you in authority, and likewise, He can remove you if you chose to follow the ways of the world and not keep covenant with Him. Never think yourself more highly than you ought.
When you accepted Christ as your Lord, you were restored to your former self. The self God envisioned you to be when He created man in the Garden of Eden and gave him dominion over all. You were created to rule. Go forth and fulfill your appointed purpose and destiny.
“Think it not strange as though something out of nowhere has attacked you. There must be a tearing down of all your past ideology, past traditions and mind sets.
Thus says the Lord that in this day and the days to come only those who allow me to dictate their movements, their coming and goings will establish my Kingdom. I am the same yesterday today and forever. I require complete obedience from my people. This should not be a burden to you, for I am the same God which has delivered you from the snare of the fowler; the same God who turned back your captivity; the same God who formed you in your mother’s womb; The God who has loved you unconditionally.
Cast down your vain thoughts and imaginations and seek Me for I have a vision and a dream prepared for you. You know Me to be the truth and the way. It is not according to you, but according to My word and My way that you shall reign in the territory that I am giving you. Seek Me and My will and I shall cause you to take dominion in the land.
It is up to you whom I am putting in charge to keep all My commandments. Your obedience will cause your strength to increase and give you victory over all the enemies of the Kingdom. It will cause you to enjoy long life and will give you a legacy to leave your children and grandchildren for you shall be known as one who was blessed of God.”
