"In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?" (Psalm 56:4)

When I read this scripture this morning for some reason I felt a little defiant! Of course my feelings are targeted toward the enemy who constantly seeks out opportunities to hinder us, hamper our praise, and hurt our potential in Christ!

Certainly the enemy wants us to give up and give out on the things of God because of fear and weary faith! He has calculated and created things to destroy our fortitude and cause us to wimper in a corner of despair! Well! I'm not having it! I'm not taking it and I'm not accepting it! I serve an awesome and mighty God - "in whose word I praise!" I serve a God that I know without a shadow of a doubt that I can trust! He has NEVER failed me and He CANNOT fail! I serve a God that protects me and strengthens me and causes me to prosper despite the arrows of the enemy- I WILL NOT be afraid! Should I be afraid of mortal man who has no power? Should I even be afraid of the enemy who has little power? NO! The Lord IS my light and my salvation, the Lord IS the strength of my life, the Lord IS my banner and my refuge. The Lord IS my strong tower and my deliverer! His Word says that I am healed! His Word says that I am more than a conqueror! His Word says that I am not alone and His Word won't return to Him void. So I say to my detractors, I say to the naysayers, I say to the Enemy: Bring It On -My faith will remain strong, my head will be lifted up and I will continue to be sold out for my Lord - the God whose Word I praise and in whom I trust!

Bring it On!
