I'm told that I'm a queen,

And to hold my head up high,

That the world is my kingdom,

And not to let it pass me by.

I'm told that I'm a queen,

And proud should be I,

That I am destined for greatness,

And my crown should reach the sky.

I'm told that I'm a queen,

But no castles do I see,

No admiration of people,

No lavish gown for me.

I'm told that I'm a queen,

But how can all that be,

When weariness seems to be my friend,

And pain my company?

I'm told that I'm a queen,

That other queens have paved the way,

That I have alot of strength,

My riches I'd see one day.

I'm told that I'm a queen,

That even though I don't believe,

I have my gown and crown already,

And that a legacy I'll leave.

So I hold my head up high,

My arms are opened wide,

To embrace this kingdom God has given me,

I'm smiling and walking with pride.

I accept what is my destiny,

Even though it's sight unseen,

I strive for greatness every day,

Cause' I'm told that I'm a Queen.
