According to the Bible, the word "amen" is and has been, a word that seals one's agreement with a message preached or taught, a prayer prayed, a declaration made,or any "gospel" truth that may have been declared or uttered, and when it is spoken, it indirectly binds that utterance to one's spirit. In the Hebrew language, it is translated as meaning "verily", or "truth", while in the Greek translation, it means " a formula of solemn expression of certainty." Christ is often referred to as the "Amen" of His people, because He is the Word that was in the beginning, and the Word that now is, and the Word that shall be in the ending, our Benediction. In different contexts or disciplines it is known as the "doxology" to some, and the "benediction" or pronouncement of blessings to others. This is really open to interpretation ,because a doxology is actually a hymn of praise and the literal translation of the word "Amen" is "so be it",or a fervent affirmation to the conclusion of the spoken word, no matter the origin or nature of it as long as it pertains to God, and the kingdom of heaven. "Amen" is one of those divinely, and soberly generated words with profound meaning and impact, that is tossed about casually, even by the unbelievers, but more importantly, it is casually and haphazardly declared in the house of God, by the "poeople'of God, with little, apparent, thought as to what they're really "Amen-ing"! We have mutated into such a body of eleivers who are easily impressed, dazzled, and won over by charismatic "whooping", spectacular displays of the "power of men", "strange doctrine that moves us, because of it's apparent "depth", and a lot of riffing and hitting high notes, even though there's absolutely no "Word based" substance to what is being spoken ,or preached, and we, yet, "injure" ourselves, trying to let our "Amen" be heard over everyone else's. We don't even take the time, or demonstrate the wisdom, to try the spirit and discern the "word" being preached, or to carefully listen to the full content and context of it, as we are blasting out "Amen", and shouting "Glory!" Many have invoked a curse, mand the presence of demonic activity upon their own lives by co-signing: the doctrine of demons, and the error of men, not grounded in the truth of the Word, and their situaion only intensifies everytime they shout "SO BE IT!", and say "Amen", for SO SHALL IT BE! It is the preaching style of many to admonish the people to "say Amen", and by subliminal messaging, they usually concur, but what identifiable truth have you come into agreement with, through being coerced into saying "So be it." ? The same is true when you are told to "Say Amen" 'anyhow', in some instances, because what they're admonishing you to do, is to render a "So be it" even if you're not certain, or not in agreement with what they are saying!

These casual, irresponsible, and irreverent endorsements of the "amens" can be very dangerous, in those circumstances where one who operates in subtle "mind binding", sorcery, or cunning witchcraft, maneuvers and manipulates the minds of the people to come into agreeement with false teachings, and messages of apostasy, by stirring up and exciting ther flesh, thus pulling their strings like a skilled puppet master, who is laughing to scorn, inwardly, at the gullibleness and the simpleness of the minds of men, and how easily they are led astray. Your "amen" is supposed to seal the blessings of the Lord, spoken and decreed for you as an individual, and for others, corporately; "Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for ever and ever. And ALL THE PEOPLE SAID "AMEN" AND PRAISED THE LORD"! "AMEN" was the last word spoken between a promised oath or judgement, and the manifestation of the same. Your "AMEN" is supposed to have a deep relevance and a power in your life, and it's similar to the privilege of having a "vote" in democracy, becase it can impact and change immeasurable things, circumstances, and situations. Your "AMEN" should mean something in the house of God, but so many have been taught and/or adopted the practice of going on 'automatic pilot" when the word is being preached or taught, and we've learned how to say "Amen" on cue, or to respond with it, when everyone else in the house seem to b getting stirred, and are co-signing. Then there are those wo are afraid of their Pastor's, or the "speaker's" disapproval, and rejection if they don't make a verbal show of support, by shouting on the sidelines like it's half time at the "Super Bowl"! There have been far too many times to count, situations in which the preacher had not studied to show themselves appproved, had their biblical facts twisted, and full of errors, but as long as they could "cup their ear" and "gurgle" while they :preached', and blow a few "nice sized spit bubbles", the people were in a frenzy, and "amen-ning all over the place, and so many have found themselves on the suffering end of the "wrong amen"! These "preachers" were all but "playing the dozens" with these people, and preaching themselves into outrageous "raises", while calling the deacon board the back end of a donkey, and the people raved over how "Pastor, or Evangelist Knows Nothing" sho nuff preached", while they matched his "spit bubbles" with hefty "amens"! If you want to know the value of their 'amens", ask them what "Pastor" or 'Evanglist" preached about, and this case will be undeniably closed, because 9 times out of 10,they won't be able to tell you one concrete sentnce out of an hour and a half's worth of babbling!! We forget what happens when we tesify that a "lie" or a "lying wonder" is the "truth",when the Word declares to"Let God be true, and let every man be a liar"!, but we still shout "So be it" to utterances that absolutely contradict, if not insult, the irrevokable truth of God's Word!

"For all the promises of God, in Him, are yea and Amen"! This is the rightously "correct" amen, that we should watch, seek, and listen for, before co-signing it and declaring "SO BE IT"! No one should have to chasten us to not verbally endorse decrees by any messenger preaching on the wisdom of allowing our children to have condoms,or be on birth control, because that's the "wrong amen", because in so doing, you are ackowledging permission to "so be it", if my child is of a mind to fornicate, and satisfy their lust. It si the "wrong Amen" for you to stand and shout "Hallelujah, and amen", when a man/woman of Gid pronounces a curse on whoever leaves the church in pursuit of the next phase of their destiny!. You should never lift up a "SO BE IT", to the berating and humiliation of another parishioner, by the messenger, over the pulpit; that's the wrong "Amen"! Even as you have the power of life and death in your tongue, you have the power of retaining the control and discipline, in and for your life, by the Holy Spirit in your life, by guarding and watching over, with diligence, your AMEN!
