Dearly beloved,

I was studying today in Isaiah and God gave me a revelation to the question that I have been asking other people. The question was, WHAT IS THE TRUE DAY OF WORSHIP? IS IT SATURDAY OR SUNDAY (SABBATH OR FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK)?

God began taking me through Isaiah chapter 56
and it says:

The Lord said:
1. Be honest and fair!
Soon I will come to save you;
my saving power will be seen
everwhere on earth.

Pay close attention to this

2. I will bless everyone wo respects the Sabbath
and refuses to do wrong.

Then he goes on to say:

3. Foreigners who worship me must not say,
"The Lord won't let us be a part of his people."

Foreigners here is talking about us the Gentiles.

Men who are unable to become fathers
must no longer say,
"We are dried-up trees."

This is what the Lord said:

4. To them (us) I, the Lord, say:
Respect the Sabbath,
obey me completely,
and keep our agreement.
Bible-(CEV) Contemporary English
Version

We must obey every command that God has given us. I've learned that we obey all of the Ten Commandments except for one and the is the fourth commandment, which is, Remember to keep the Sabbath Day holy.

Leviticus 23:3 tells us that Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation: ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.

Which mean no matter where you live you must keep his Sabbath Day holy.

I have heard so many people say that was for Israel and not for us. I have also heard people say that the Jewish calendar was change so we don't know what day the Lord set aside for worship. True the months on the calendar were changed, but not the days of the week.

God changes not. The Ten commandments still stand the only thing God did away with in the law was the sacrifical ceromonies for our sins. The priest no longer have to go to God for us and make blood sacrifices of animals for our sins. Jesus fulfilled this part when He died for our sins.

In verse 6 of Isaiah 56 the Lord explained further,
Foreigners will follow me.
They will respect the Sabbath and keep our agreement.

We and the Jews are one so what agreement he made with them now it is for us.

7. I will bring them (us) to my holy mountain,
where they will celebrate in my house of worship.
Their sacrifices and offerings will always be welcome on my altar.
Then my house will be known as a house of worship for all nations.

8. I, the Lord. promise to bring together my people who were taken away, and let them join the others.

Here in verse 8 God makes a promise for Israel to be joined back with us, God has not forgot about his chosen servants.

The Lord God said that all nations will be a part of his people. Indeed he has done just that. All we need to do is obey his commands "all of them."

Read Isaiah 56: 1-8

May the Lord add a blessing to the reader, hearer and doer of his holy divine Word.

God bless
