Allow God to shape you

"We are the clay, and You our potter."
Isaiah 64:8 NKJV
Imagine a beautiful china teacup saying: "I wasn't always like this. There was a time when I was just a cold, hard, colorless lump of clay. One day the potter picked me up and said, 'I could do something with this.' Then he started to put pressure on me and change my shape. I said, 'What are you doing? That hurts. Stop!' But he said, 'Not yet.' Then he put me on a wheel and began to spin me around and around until I shouted, 'Let me off.' He replied, 'Not yet.' Then he shaped me into a cup and put me in a hot oven. I cried, 'Let me out of here. I'm suffocating.' But he looked at me and said, 'Not yet.' When he took me out, I thought his work on me was over, but then he started to paint me. I couldn't believe what he did next. He put me back into the oven, and I said, 'I can't stand this, please let me out!' But he said, 'Not yet.' Finally he took me out of the oven and set me on a shelf where I thought he had forgotten me. Then one day he took me off the shelf and held me up before a mirror. I couldn't believe my eyes. I had become a beautiful teacup that everyone wants to buy."
There are things going on in your life today that you don't understand. When you finally get to the place God wants you to be, you'll realize that He has been making you into a vessel He can use, bless, and use to bless others. So, allow God to shape you!

For the past couple of weeks, the Lord has burdened me with the various needs in the body. I will say again as I have so many other times; I am excited about God’s presence and power being manifested week after week. Let’s continue to dare to dream that with God all things are possible. At the same time I have been enjoying God's blessings of preaching the word. But at the same time, the enemy is rearing his ugly head trying to distract me from moving forward with God. When I hear of families are being attacked, marriages are being attacked, finances, health and on and on it goes.

I also have been attacked by finances going astray, then I knew I must be doing something right for the Lord. When things attack you out of nowhere, it is a great future coming wiih blessings.

Friend, God had great things in store for the children of Israel. All they had to do was trust him even though there appeared to be no way out. God has a great plan for each of us. He doesn’t want you to die in the wilderness nor does He want you to go back to your old life of sin and bondage. He doesn’t want you to settle for second best. He doesn’t want you to run from the crisis, he wants you to meet it head on with courage and the conviction that he will see you through. The Red Sea you are facing is not the impasse you think it is. It is tempting to take the easy way out, to settle for second best but God has a better idea.

We must rely on God’s promises. He said, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you only need to be still."

God promised them that he would take care of them and that He was going to fight their battle for them. All they had to do was stand firm or be still which simply means they had to block out all the distractions and focus on God. The peace of God can’t hit a moving target; we must stand still and focus on God’s promises.

Just know that pressure is God's way of building our faith in God and building us into a beautiful teacup.
