AnointedWorks sd Presents Prophet Gary Becton

It is indeed an honor to present Prophet Gary Becton of Garner, North Carolina. In the Book of Proverbs there are many scriptures that describe what God considers an upright man, One in which God takes into his confidence. Such a man is my apostolic and prophetic mentoring brother and friend. When I consider his character I reflect on…

Proverbs 17:27
A man of knowledge uses words with restraint,
and a man of understanding is even-tempered.

He is a man of integrity with a heart that follows after God; A discerning man who keeps wisdom in view. He and his lovely and virtuous wife, Karen, who is also a minister are the proud parents of five children. They both are pillars of Christian kindness and care and exemplify what the bible teaches us will pleasure God in finding an equally yoked helpmate in matrimony. Prophet Becton desire is to walk with God as Samuel, Elijah and Jesus walked with God. He states “ I desire all that God said I could have and said I could do in His name. I am sold out for Jesus. For God I live for God I die”.

Prophet Becton who has been in ministry for twenty years is the founder of The Word of God Healing and Deliverance Ministry. Among his God given gifts Prophet Becton has the gift of healing and deliverance by strong aggressive spiritual warfare prayers. He is an Associate Minister at The Word of God Deliverance Evangelistic Church.

Prophet Gary Becton is an ardent student of the Holy Scriptures continually living by the Word. Below is one lesson of such a study:

THE STRATEGIES OF SATAN ARE UNBELIEF
Deuteronomy 9:23-24
23. Likewise when the Lord sent you at Kadesh- barnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then you rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God and ye believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice. 24. Ye have been rebellious against the LORD from the day that I knew you.
Once Satan has succeeded in causing Christian to refuse to hear God’s voice by rejecting it altogether, or by failing to respond, he will then try to fill their minds with doubt and unbelief.
God had specifically promised Israel, through Moses, that He would drive out all their enemies and give them the land of Canaan as an inheritance (Deuteronomy 4:38). Yet, when they came to Kadesh-barnea and saw the giants in the land, they were afraid. Instead of listening to God’s voice, they listened to the voices of the spies who said the people were “giants” and were more powerful than they. Moses told them not to be afraid, that the Lord had gone before them and would fight on their behalf (Deuteronomy 1:30). But the Israelites rejected God’s covenant promise and rejected the Word of God, given through his prophet, Moses. Their hearts were filled with unbelief. This unbelief was the root cause of their sin. It was their unbelief that prevented them from entering into their Promised Land. Their unbelief was the cause of their hardened hearts and ultimately brought their destruction. Paul said we must examine ourselves to see if we have “an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God” (Hebrews 3:12). We must recognize unbelief for what it is sin. If we allow any of it to remain in our hearts, it will lead us away from God; it will cause us to disobey Him and, like the children of Israel, we will not be able to see the fulfillment of His promises in our lives.
Paul said we must quench the fiery darts of unbelief with our “shield of faith” (Ephesians 6:16). Our COUNTERATTACK must be to cast these thoughts out the

moment they come into our minds (II Corinthians 10:5). We must not allow them to remain for one moment.
Satan’s strategy against the Church today is to dull our spiritual senses concerning sin. We are living in the days Jesus prophesied iniquity would abound (Matthew 24:12). Satan wants us to turn our backs and ignore the sin that is all around us in the church and in the world. But we Must Not allow our hearts to be hardened against it.
Satan’s strategy is to cause us to become so hardened to the sin around us that we no longer fall on our faces before God and cry out for His mercy for the people who are bound in chains of darkness. He wants us to become so hardened to sin that we fail to see the sins we have allowed to remain in our hearts, unwilling to receive correction and reproof unrepentant.

Our counterattack must be:
1. To take heed to be on guard.
2. To develop a sensitivity to the voice of God.
3. To be willing to hear and respond to His voice.
4. To cast out all unbelief.
5. To walk in obedience.
6. To develop a hatred for sin.
7. To have a repentant spirit. Today if ye will hear His voice, HARDEN NOT YOUR HEARTS” (Hebrews 3:7-8). This is the message we should be preaching, and teaching God’s people today.
People today must go back to the bible basics. Keep their eyes on Jesus and not the cares of the world.
What will you do?
