IS IT WRONG TO TAKE ANOTHER PASTOR'S MESSAGE AND PREACH IT AS YOUR OWN?

No, I personally don't think its wrong to "use" another pastor's message. First of all, it is not his message anyway, its God's. I heard too many pastors preach the same message, but there was something different each time. Yes, I do believe that pastors should be diligent in his/her studies to see what God has to say to His people.

Although, plagiarism is illegal in every other domain, The Gospel belongs to all.

Friends, there is plenty more where that came from. One of the greatest compliments anyone can pay you is to mimic you. They listen to you, copy you verbatim and stand and preach those words as their own...this is a good thing..it was not only worth preaching once, it was worth preaching twice!!! Praise God! We must remember..they will have to continue to listen to us in order to have something worth saying. So rejoice...it is good..really good! DrFaye

How is it wrong to preach another Pastor's message when it's not his message in the first place. The Word that we get from the Lord is by His inspiration and usually comes to us first before it every gets to the people. So no it's not wrong to preach anothers message. God is the originator, we're just the device He uses to get the Word out!

I feel like it's not the Pastor's message in the first place. It is GOD'S word, therefore I don't think preaching another Pastor/Preacher's message is wrong.
