1 Corinthians 16:13 } Be alert and be on your guard; stand firm in your faith (your conviction inspecting man's relationship to God and divine things, keeping the trust and holy fervor born of faith and a part of it). Act like men and be courageous; grow in strength!

Psalm 31:24} Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for and hope for and expect the Lord!

So many people today proclaim to be Christians, but what kind of fruit do we see in them? What are their hopes and expectations on? The word or God's promises? How we love to quote God's word whenever situations arise. But the question is are we speaking from ''head'' knowledge or ''heart'' knowledge. Many of God's children will stand on God's word but often see things are not changing or else nothing comes of it. We tend to blame God when that happens. But are we truly ''believing'' that He will make it materialize in our lives. Sadly many of us do not. Are we truly being obedient to Him in every way?

The Word tells us today to be alert and on guard. That means we are to be active in our walk with Christ. Many people today have become very complacent in their walk or totally given up. We cannot be courageous nor grow in strength if we don't take quality time with God.
Many of us are starving our spirit man by not feeding it God's word.
Many do not even want or desire to attend church and to be united with the Body of Christ where the true power of God functions and operates supernaturally and in awesome ways. We have forgotten that chuch is where our protection, healing and deliverance lies.

So if we are not attending to the things I mentioned above how can we be working on a relationship with God. Sadly many of us are not! Then we wonder why all hell is breaking loose not only in this world but in our families and every area of our lives. God said to abide in Him and He will abide in us. That means every day, not just when the mood hits us. When we have that true intimate relationship with God we will be amazed as to how He overtakes us with His blessings. We will be even more amazed as to how we grow spiritually.

Christmas is not about gifts, it's not about the things this world would have us believe in. It is a reminder of our wonderful Savior and all that He has done for us. It's a time of great rejoicing and worshipping God the way He deserves to be praised. Many of us have put the gods of this world ahead of our God. Many of us do not recognize that we are a part of the great falling away. We have deserted God and our walk. It's time to step it up church. I hope you go back over the sharing the Lord gave me about the fruits and the leaves. It's very powerful and should impact us. If not, then we need to look at what we are operating in. It's never too late to get back on track. God bless you, I love you, but Jesus loves you so much more than I ever could.
