ARE YOU AN UNLIMITED LOCAL OR A LONG DISTANCE CARRIER?
This thought came to me while watching a commercial on television...
So many are caught up in this new phenominon...preaching here and there & singing at everybodies midnight musical or revival, being seen every weekend at somebodies bash/celebration or being called upon to preach at anniversary services because you are known to raise a wonderful offering for the pasa! Which ever comes first, it's all FOOLERY! It amazes me that majority of the leaders *(Bishops, Apostles, Pastors, Evangelists, Prophets, Singers & Musicians) in Christiandom feel that they have accomplished some great exploit, when they are called upon to minister to the same crowd of people, in the same churches, in the same city year after year & they minister the same message heard over and over, from the same passage of scripture, with the same entourage of "believers" & the same watered down anointing along with the same dance & the same tongues offering God the same "worship" from the same unclean broken down sin-infested vessel...and I shutter at the thought of these "Levites" and their "new sound"...it reeks of the spirit that is lodged in their loins! I guess sex does sell..huh? Anywho...Their heads are so full of glory, there is not an ounce of true humility & the anointed ONE is NOT a part of the equation at all, therefore it's just entertainment with the words inspirational gospel attached to it!
Okay, I guess you can tell that I am IRKED!!!!
Alright, let me get back to this blog...I was never okay with accepting engagements or gigs *(as they are so eloquently called), I always seek God to find out if it is an Assignment of His or just another fundraiser or money making gathering of the "stars"...see, I refuse to go on my own for the sake of being seen or heard & possibly picked up by someone in the crowd who loved the "entertainment" so much so that they want to "book" me for their next "Event"! Yes there are "Booking Agents" at every show scouting the crowd or the talent and then they go and "put together" a "Show" called a "Revival/Conference" and they use the same UNLIMITED LOCALS to bring the crowd in & the cycle continues week after week, year after year and those who go to these Shows see the Jada & Will's in the crowd or Jay'Z & Beyonce's in the crowd and get excited these are the "Groupies" who would be "believers" IF WE WOULD STOP PLAYING GOD!...Feel me?!
I JUST BLANKED OUT AGAIN...OKAY, OKAY...I'LL TRY TO STICK TO THE BLOG...
Money, Fame & Prestige are NOT important to A TRUE BELIEVER because these are the very things that He tells us NOT to worry about...so, why is it that IF these things are NOT in place you so called "Leaders", will NOT GO? You ask the people for these astronomical honorariums, you give them a letter of agreement, which includes 2 or more roundtrip airline tickets for you and a buddy or significant other *(who knows these days), 2 Kingsize "NON-smoking rooms @ a 5 star hotel, Ground transportation *(a Hummer, Bentley, Limo,), and to top it all off you want a per diem of your choice not just for you but for your entourage as well Or your refreshment list includes, fried chicken, ribs, greens, mac & cheese, donuts, ginger ale & Chocolate cake! Now what is that about? I have been ministering for years and NOT once have I ever requested any of these things, yet they have been provided because He said they would! I have driven in the best cars, slept in the best hotels, eaten at the best places & received ridiculous seed offerings for the ministry along with the most wonderful gifts just because I chose to go and do it for HIS sake! Not for the money & prestige that ministry brings...
Going for His sake separates you from the Unlimited Locals and you go into His category of a Long Distance Carrier! SEE, even if you have been state to state or country to country you're still an UNLIMITED LOCAL based on your requirements...If you charge to PREACH HIS GOSPEL and IF you won't go unless the money is right & all of your other amenities are in place then you are just a Local! He is looking for those who will not take a purse or script or shoes..Not for the Unlimited Locals who rehearse their lines before they get there or who try to put on their designer suits, shoes and handbags to impress the crowd of on lookers...you are NOT the one that He has chosen in this Hour to be a Long Distance Carrier! A Long Distance Carrier only goes where they are Sent, they only preach what He gives them and they do it FOR NOTHING, knowing that Jehovah Jireh will Provide for them everything that is needed for the journey! I am speaking from experience, I have gone as far as Africa on a ONE-WAY ticket because the God that I serve said Go & I'll get you home...and not only did He get me home but He allowed me to return home safely in "First Class" because He was Pleased! So, In my closing I challenge you to take the limits off & trust Him totally & watch Him take you from being an Unlimited Local to a Long Distance Carrier!!!
And He said unto them, when I sent you without purse and scrip and shoes, lacked ye anything? And they said, NOTHING! Luke 22:35
