Many people are walking in their wrong office, calling and gifting. Many people do not have a clue as to what their true and divine/ordained destiny calling is. Here are a few clues...
1. Your true calling will never ever leave you. You will dream about it it, talk about it and not have any peace ubtil you begin to walk in it. Conversely, if you are in the wrong calling, gifting or office, you will have great inner turmoil. You will know within yourself that what you are doing is not what you should be doing... When you are in your right calling you will have the peace of God's confirmation in your heart. Even when things get rough and you want to quit, you will still know what you should be doing. Look at the prophets who wanted to die, quit or run. They were in there right calling. Its time to confirm your calling, office or gift.
Mike Murdock states and I agree with this, "What angers you is a clue to your assignment. I hate disorder in the church, in life, and God has placed within me a passion for business, ministry and connecting people. Lastly, people come against Christians and wealth. Why would God place in the heart and soul of a 3 year old boy to walk around in the 1950's , talking about, I'm going to be a millionaire. Shoot..black folks were fortunate to make any kind of living. One of my passions and I know it is from God to help people transfer the wealth of the wicked to the righteous through wise business and godly order. I have a passion for teaching, training , management and counseling people. Life skills, leadership and success). God has blessed me with a great creative mind and ability. That is because of my years in art school, majoring in music(voice)/Business Administration, My ministry from training came later through different institutions.. which has helped me to think differently and outside of the box but inside the box in areas where others might miss...
True example: A few years ago, I saw a program about a gentleman who went against his familes desire for him. His family had a history of becoming laywers going back perhaps a hundred years. It was expected that he would do the same. He did! He got a law degree and practiced law for a few years. His hunger however, was to be a fireman and work within the community with disadvantaged people. He quit his law firm, became a fireman.
He was literally kicked out of the family as if he never was a member of that family. They actually disowned him. He focused his attention on his hearts passion. He became well loved in the community, became well decorated, started a small successful business...slowly family members began to see that he was right. They were awakened to truth and some of them began to have more understanding about being your own person...
It takes guts to leave the ruts! Even if they are family designed ruts.
