Are you in your right calling, gifting or office? How do you know?

Many people are walking in their wrong office, calling and gifting. Many people do not have a clue as to what their true and divine/ordained destiny calling is. Here are a few clues...

1. Your true calling will never ever leave you. You will dream about it it, talk about it and not have any peace ubtil you begin to walk in it. Conversely, if you are in the wrong calling, gifting or office, you will have great inner turmoil. You will know within yourself that what you are doing is not what you should be doing... When you are in your right calling you will have the peace of God's confirmation in your heart. Even when things get rough and you want to quit, you will still know what you should be doing. Look at the prophets who wanted to die, quit or run. They were in there right calling. Its time to confirm your calling, office or gift.

Mike Murdock states and I agree with this, "What angers you is a clue to your assignment. I hate disorder in the church, in life, and God has placed within me a passion for business, ministry and connecting people. Lastly, people come against Christians and wealth. Why would God place in the heart and soul of a 3 year old boy to walk around in the 1950's , talking about, I'm going to be a millionaire. Shoot..black folks were fortunate to make any kind of living. One of my passions and I know it is from God to help people transfer the wealth of the wicked to the righteous through wise business and godly order. I have a passion for teaching, training , management and counseling people. Life skills, leadership and success). God has blessed me with a great creative mind and ability. That is because of my years in art school, majoring in music(voice)/Business Administration, My ministry from training came later through different institutions.. which has helped me to think differently and outside of the box but inside the box in areas where others might miss...

True example: A few years ago, I saw a program about a gentleman who went against his familes desire for him. His family had a history of becoming laywers going back perhaps a hundred years. It was expected that he would do the same. He did! He got a law degree and practiced law for a few years. His hunger however, was to be a fireman and work within the community with disadvantaged people. He quit his law firm, became a fireman.

He was literally kicked out of the family as if he never was a member of that family. They actually disowned him. He focused his attention on his hearts passion. He became well loved in the community, became well decorated, started a small successful business...slowly family members began to see that he was right. They were awakened to truth and some of them began to have more understanding about being your own person...

It takes guts to leave the ruts! Even if they are family designed ruts.

O.K.
Pastor I am getting in on this very late. but I got to say something on this because it is a good blog.
Some of us are not qualified for the office we hold. And then others join churches and we are not sent by GOD. They go seeking a position or an opportunity not waiting to hear from the LORD! Then some others start churches out of anger, YOU KNOW CHURCH HURT! See we have to understand 1st timothy chapter 3. There are qualification for some of these titles we are stepping into. Some of us are not trained for these positions we just move on them not knowing. So we are walking blind and then leading people blind hopeing GOD will move on our behalf. See GOD has called us to Discipleship! What do I mean by that? Learn, become a student. Then move! It is called ORDER! This is why there is so much confusion in the church now! But GOD does not move in confusion! I did not say GOD I said the church. Who is the church? WE ARE! YES! We are confusing each other by misleading each other by not hearing GOD.

Shoot... I've known my calling since I was 9 years old. I would have clear visions of owning and operating a multi media company and how I was to run it. I would spend extra time in bed trying to finish the dream that was already over. Then I would slip into a day dream state of mind for hours plotting and planning my business moves. My girlfriends all thought I was crazy because I wanted to play publisher and secretary all the time instead of playing with dolls and hopscotch. I would boss them around like I was in charge. I created my first magazine at nine with full length articles and pictures and gave them out to parents, aunts and uncles and I used to convince them all to read it in front of me. My parents would humor me and chuckle at my madness. My destiny never left me. The vision has only gotten bigger. I’ve learned a lot now I just need some money to get started the way I envision. Great message Mike. Keep them coming.

I know that iam in my right calling because this has been prophesied in my life since I was 16 yrs old . A mother of my home church in New York , grabbed my hand and beckoned me to come to her . She told me with all seriousness " You will preach the Gospel , you will be a Evangelist " . Well, at 16 , what did I know ? Several years and a few storms later , God has begun to prepare me but I was bucking aganist it , because I felt that I wasn't worthy . I have become rebellious and stubborn . Back in 2003 , God has started to tranformed me , started to put His word in my heart and in my spirit . I started speaking as a layperson . Then God moved me into the teaching ministry , which didn't really worked for me , for folks told me I sounded like I was preaching . Then I recognized it was the Holy Ghost , moving deep inside me . Now in the last two years , I have started to see Prophetic movement in my life . It scared me at first , then the Lord told me to "let it flow " . Now I know that not only that Iam moving in at least 2 fivefold office but He is preparing me for the Prophetic . Never say what God is not going to do or what you won't do for God , for He knows the plans He has for you (Jeremiah 29:11 ) and He knew you when you were in your mother's womb (Jeremiah 1:5 ) . So yes , I know that I am in my calling because God keeps on reminding me that it is HE who called you ... not man .

THIS IS A GREAT POST SO MANY PEOPLE ARE PREACHING NOW BECAUSE SOMEONE TOLD THEM THEY COULD BUT IF YOU CANT LINE IT UP WITH THE WORD OF GOD AND RECIVE A CALLING FROM GOD THEN YOU SHOULDNT DO IT TALKING ABOUT THIS IS A NEW DAY GOD WORD IS THE SAME AND NEVER CHANGES . SO WE NEED TO LISTEN CLEARLY TO GOD EVERY CALLING IS NOT TO PREACH THE WORD
