The ransomed of the LORD will return.
They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads.
Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
Isaiah 51:11 NIV

Hardship and adversely intense circumstances have displaced many. Life and all that it entails has become and continues to be very challenging. So many things have taken place so abruptly that everything around us appears to be caught up in a whirlwind. Some things have brought about drastic change while other things have been very painful. It wasn't so long ago when the landscape of our life was so peaceful and everything was together.
The furniture in the living room of our life may have been turned upside down or altogether destroyed. But we were not destroyed. The walls that were once our shelter are no longer standing. But we are. The foundation of all that in which we trusted in the earthly realm has been shaken and fragmented. But the foundation of the Lord still stands sure. The words of commitment from supposed friends to help us have all been discovered to be nothing more than empty promises. But the Almighty is our very present help and His loyalty is eternal.
We were carried away because we got caught up in the wrong thing. The furniture or the things in our life had to be removed because the residue of our past had to be removed. The walls that were our shelter had to be destroyed because the Lord had to bring us out of our comfort zone in order to enlarge our territory and to expand our borders. The things that once were once considered to be foundational in our life had to be destroyed in order for us to discover the true solid rock. The words of friends had to fail in order for us to realize the word and fidelity of the Almighty are from everlasting to everlasting.
Let the ransomed and the redeemed of the Lord rejoice. You that have been broken and humbled, rejoice! All of those that were so far removed from your place of promise; worship the Lord with unceasing praise and thanksgiving. Let all those that have embraced relationship and the plan and purpose of our loving Heavenly Father bless Him continually. Abba Father is now causing His ransomed and redeemed to be brought into their rightful place. Everlasting joy with be the crown upon their head. Gladness and joy will overtake them and sorrow and despair will flee away. Again, I say rejoice! Amen!
