Blessed by temptation
It doesn’t matter how strong you become in Christ God hasn’t planned your life without the church. Church is a place of a special power.
When we gather and there are only 10 then soon there will be more than 100 and 1000 of us. We don’t need to be scared that our church won’t grow. We can understand from the Bible that He wants that and He will fulfill it. We must be completely dedicated. God has His a right time for everything.
When we come together then we are oppressed and troubled many of us have a slight ray of hope in our hearts but as we worship satans spider’s web is broken and our windshields are swept. Satan has no hope! You have hope. As long as you live you have hope. The life that satan lives is full of hatred. If there is insolvability and hopelessness in your heart then satan has lied to you. That’s his text message. God is light, hope, love, power and firm help. Everyday you can choose whom to place your hope in. Faithful people are those who learn to tell satan: „No!“ and God: „Yes!“ Then depression will leave.
James 1:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds,
Holy Spirit shows you in the bible what chances you’ve got. Everyone would like to have no temptation, sadness, quarrels, sicknesses, and death. The fact that you belong to Gods family doesn’t mean that you are automatically freed from trials. Inevitably we must live on this earth and the prince of this world is satan. We will have pain before we are born again and after we are born again. It will not disappear anywhere. Curse will not vanish. Lets be realists. When in the world we were tempted then it was a hard situation. Many people commit suicide then.
Oh, my God help and teach us to consider our problems and temptations that we face in this life as a pure joy. If you are in Jesus you are Gods beloved child and these things should not be in your life. No one likes to react happily to the shadow of temptation. In any case you are not pleased. If displeasure, temptation, suffering come into your life than you must rejoice. Jesus says: “Consider it pure joy!“ What joy can there be when you become sick with cancer. Will you rejoice then? Is your faith in God that strong? We must learn to rejoice when these kind of things come into our lives. They come to push us away, to pull us down to make us afraid so we would loose our joy, faith and hope. It also affects our families, parliament and state.
James 1:3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance (patience- in Estonian Bible).
No other thing except pain, lack, oppression, sickness will make you patient. We will not learn to persevere on our own.
God knows that we will not become patient without problems. Problem will come to test your faith. Will you ignore it? Do you continue to worship and praise Him? There is no life without problems. Problems will not come to kill you but to make you patient. If you don’t believe that then you have failed already. If you get angry, become hysteric then it means that you need to be more patient. If you are strong then you will not be moved. This test, process, difficulty is temporary and will make you perseverant.
James 1:12 Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.
When problems come then heaven looks if your reaction has changed or not. If you will listen to the Holy Spirit and don’t fall into depression then you have won. You are strong if you don’t behave like you used to but you remain in Christ. That’s how it is possible for you to receive the crown of life. For tens of times we have failed but totally new situations come to try you. Problems come suddenly into your life. Most important is to move in the Spirit then you will receive the crown of life. It’s not easy if we are not sure and don’t know how to place our hope in God. God says that you must remain in Christ. We must learn to solve these problems spiritually and not to follow our emotions.
Temptation (in Greek peirasmos) - temptation, test, exam, experiment, probation, analysis, physical test, fidelity, faithfulness, loyalty.
Consider it pure joy by brethren if you go to give an exam. The one who hasn’t done their homework don’t want to go to the exam. Exams will come. You can not escape them.
If you learn hard, pray, act in the Holy Spirit then reaction will be automatic. This problem is a piece of cake for me. God will not allow me to be tempted beyond what I can bear. God is testing are you genuine. Are you one with His word? Are you excellent, well-grounded will you stand firm on His word in spite of temptations? Will you remain faithful to Him.
1.Cor 10:13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
God Himself will not tempt you with evil. He allows satan to come very close to you. God sometimes allows him to come so near to you that you get goose-bumps. Can you imagine what it might be in hell? Satan is under Gods control. You are capable to bear every problem and solve them. Satan tells you that it’s the end but God tells you that it’s just the beginning. God tells you: “You have a way out of every problem! Don’t allow satan to fool you! You have a solution and you can find it!” There are minuses and plusses in every situation. God says: “Don’t look at the minuses! Look at the plusses! Don’t look down! Look up!”
Ask for wisdom so you could find the spiritual solution. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. If there is a Way then there is also a way out. Ask for wisdom and don’t doubt God will tell you where the exit is.
2.Tim 2:5 Similarly, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor's crown unless he competes according to the rules.
We must receive solutions from God. If you won’t receive guidance from the Holy Spirit you will not receive the crown of. Human being is used to sufferings. Pointless is to suffer for your sins it is better to bear half hour of pastors reproof. Look to the plusses not the minuses. Satan is minus God is plus. Look at the plusses and to the reward. If you look to the minuses you will fall into depression.
Receive these things into your life. No matter how great the depression is always know that there are plusses. God will tell you where the exit is. You will not remain there! You will not die there!
But we lift our eyes to the reward.
