Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;

Deuteronomy 11:26 KJV

It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich. His blessing is life enriching because it touches more than the material. It goes further than the visible. It endures beyond the expanse of time and season. It meets us where we are and it is more than enough to meet all needs tangible and unseen.

The blessing is the obvious will of the Almighty. It is the written and literal word of God. It is the spoken promise from the mouth of Jehovah. It is the wisdom birthed and breathed into our spirit through rhema and ruach. It is that which is forever settled in heaven and sealed by the blood of the new covenant between God and man.

The curse is to ignore, refute, refuse, neglect, disregard and abandon the word of the Almighty. The curse is to take matters into our own hands and do as we choose in spite of His instruction. The curse is to make decisions in the absence of the will and wisdom of Eternal God. The curse is living life after our own interest and understanding. There is a way that seem right to man but it ends…

Hey! Look! This day blessing is set before us. Choose blessing! It is yours and it is the will and good pleasure of Abba Father! Amen!
