Born Again, A Change of Body, not a Change of Mind

There is confusion about being born again. Most people think it is a
change of mind, and that is simply not the case.. Here are just a few
scriptures that support born again being a change of body, and not
mind..

John 3:1-6 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and
said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for
no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he
enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus
answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a
man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.Jesus answered,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of
the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born
of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit

1Peter 1:23-24 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word
of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass,
and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth,
and the flower thereof falleth away:

1Corinthians 15:40-44 There
are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the
celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is
one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory
of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. So also
is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised
in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is
sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it
is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a
spiritual body.

Job 14:1-14 A man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble. He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut
down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.
And doth
thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and bringest me into judgment
with thee? Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.
Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee,
thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass; Turn from him,
that he may rest, till he shall accomplish, as an hireling, his day. For
there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again,
and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Though the root
thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;
Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a
plant. But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost,
and where is he? As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth
and drieth up: So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be
no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep. O that
thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret,
until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and
remember me! If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my
appointed time will I wait, till my change come.

Mark 9:1-8 And
he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them
that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the
kingdom of God come with power. And after six days Jesus taketh with
him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high
mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them. And
his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on
earth can white them. And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and
they were talking with Jesus. And Peter answered and said to Jesus,
Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles;
one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. For he wist not
what to say; for they were sore afraid. And there was a cloud that
overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my
beloved Son: hear him. And suddenly, when they had looked round about,
they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.

1Corinthians 15:20-26 But
now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them
that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the
resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ
shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the
firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Then cometh
the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the
Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and
power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

Revelation 20:4-6 And
I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto
them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of
Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast,
neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads,
or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand
years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years
were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he
that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath
no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall
reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 20:10-15 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and
brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be
tormented day and night for ever and ever. And I saw a great white
throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven
fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the
dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and
another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were
judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to
their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death
and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged
every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into
the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found
written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
