Christ; His True Form That We Have Failed to Perceive
When will God's elect, blood washed, overcoming remnant wake up and realize that we are the actual body of Messiah? I ask this question out of great concern and deep frustration. The New Covenant goes into great detail in explaining how that Christ inhabits the believer. He calls us His 'true tabernacle', the temple of His Spirit and His Bride. Why then do we speak and act as though Satan and demons have powers that we must fast to overcome?
Has Christ been raised or not? Does He possess ALL power in heaven and in earth or not? Have we been raised with Him and seated with Him or not?
Believers comprise Messiah's body. (Romans 12:5, I Corinthians 10:17, I Corinthians 12:20-27, Ephesians 4:12, Colossians 1:18, Colossians 2:19, Ephesians 1:17-23)
Point One: After the resurrection and ascension of Messiah a transformation took place in our Lord's form. (Emphasis on the word 'form'). He is not longer a separate and distinct entity from us. We are ONE organism with Him and in Him. ONE body and ONE NEW MAN (Eph. 2:15). Stop making distinctions between Messiah and His bride. To make such distinctions insults His blood which purchased us, redeemed us and sealed the covenant making us ONE with Him.
Point Two: Messiah is the Head of an organism, not an institution. He is the Head of a spiritual body, not the CEO of a corporation. Because He is the Head of a Body and the King of the Kingdom the voice speaking should be His. Amen. The concept of a 'purpose driven life' is inconsistent with the Kingdom mandate. Since when has body part had a vision and ambition of its' own? Did not God Almighty design all instructions to come from the Head?
Point Three: Live influenced by the Spirit, no longer in bondage to the Adamic nature which was crucified and buried.
I Corinthians 15:45, 'And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit'. Do we not realize that the Last Adam is now a Life giving Spirit? Of course Messiah walked the earth in a body of flesh. But after His glorious ascension the Father glorified Him and exalted Him. A marvelous change took place in our Savior's form. He became the FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD. (Colossians 1:19, Colossians 2:19) As a result, He came to those in the upper room as the Life-Giving Spirit! And He comes to us in the Person of Holy Spirit as well. There are not three separate gods, only ONE. Christ is fullness of all that God is. And here's the exciting part. WE ARE HIS BODY. All that He is and all He possesses is now dwelling in us as His corporate body.
- '...as He is, so are we in this world.' (I John 4:17)
