CHRISTIANITY GONE BAD

Some people take religion to the extreme. What do I mean ? Well I'm glad you asked ! When new people come to church and give their lives to God I've seen "helpers" try to make new babes speak in tongues. The person never spoke in tongues and I never saw them again. That was another babe scared off by over religious people walking in the flesh. I know... I know... you was trying to get them saved ! All they need to do is one word... CONFESS !

All Jesus wants is your heart and you hand. You don't need to do man-made "traditions" in order to have Jesus as your personal savior . 

FORCE FEEDING RELIGION WILL CAUSE UNBELIEVERS TO REJECT GOD

As a baby, my I had to force-feed my now 5 yr old son in order for him to eat his Lasagna and now as a result my son hates Lasagna. This works the same way with religion. Its force into you instead of fed to you and now you hate to look at a church. LETS KEEP IT REAL ! People are sick of religion. We need to just introduce AND NOT manipulate Jesus into people's lives and let them make their own personal decision whether to come to Christ . I learned one thing from force feeding my child, if force them to eat what they don't want they will throw it back up. The same goes for a babe in Christ if you force them to "eat" something they don't want they will reject it

 

PREACHING DOWN TO A PERSON WON'T  MAKE THEM CHANGE

Telling a person that they are "GOING TO HELL" isn't going to get them saved. They need to be taught  that they don't have to go down the destructive road. Preaching down to a person who doesn't know Christ or have a relationship with Christ is only pushing them further and further away from the church. Yesterday my wife showed me a clip of a pastor chewing out a known rapper out over his music. The rapper asked a question, where was you when kids needed school supplies or a coat ? His response was ," I've been at my church. I shook my head because the Pastor was so busy bringing up his faults that he forgot to ask the rapper how can the church help your cause ? The rapper was doing what the pastor should have been doing and that was helping the community. Instead he was doing what the rapper accused him of doing ; BEING RELIGIOUS, ASKING FOR MONEY AND TRYING TO MAKE A NAME FOR HIMSELF. When Jesus went out to serve he didn't have a church. It was about saving those who was lost. The pastor failed . He was so busy preaching to him to change his life that he forgot that preaching down to unsaved people won't  change them.Only showing them the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) will bring them closer to Christ. 

ACCEPT PEOPLE FOR WHO THEY ARE AND NOT WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO BE . ONLY GOD CAN CHANGE THEM IN HIS TIME.

In church today , I witness God change several young people's lives. When they came in people looked at them like they didn't belong. They wore stuff that we wouldn't wear to church. They looked different. The pastor accepted them in love and not one time made any negative comments to them. That is how we need to be. We need not to be so religious that we forget our purpose which is to go out and save lives no matter what they look like. God loves us no matter what color we are, what religion we are , or what gender we are . Lets lose our religious ideologies and accept people for who they are . God did the same for us so why should we treat anyone else any differently?
