Greetings to Everyone,
God has instructed me to develop a prayer/intercessory team for Chicago Public Schools (CPS). Following God’s strategic instruction we are in the planning stages of the CPS Prayer Council. “When school is in session, we need Intercession.” The need is great and your assistance is vital to our schools, homes, and communities.
Please consider becoming a part of the CPS Prayer Council. Believing that as we come together praying in agreement, barriers will be broken within Chicago Public Schools. This release will in turn promote change within our families, homes and communities. As we come together in UNITY, we will se change that filters into the streets of Chicago. This group will be compiled of men and women who will stay on the wall and pray without ceasing. The prayers of the righteous availeth much. Peace, safety and unity are available to us as we rally together regardless to race, creed, color, or denomination. Please know that each move is orchestrated by God. Nothing that comes before you is presented without first, prayer and fasting.
To date we have a listing of 607 Chicago Public Schools. We are calling forth that number of participants and beyond. The need is far greater than the human eye can see. Will you stand in the gap for safer schools, positive relationships, higher learning, academic excellence and above all salvation and restoration? We are seeking individuals to fill the capacity of Board of Intercessors, Prayer Line Operators, Prayer Fellowship Leaders, Watchmen, and Communication Crew.

Board of Intercessors- This core group will be in direct contact with Founder. Attend planning meetings as needed. Place intense focus on specific areas. Examples include but not limited to; students, teachers, custodial and dietary staff. Be available to assist in area of focus as needed.
Prayer Line Operators- Will conduct weekly prayer calls. Arrive on line 15 minutes prior to session going over directives. Mention all schools we are praying for throughout the upcoming week as outlined in Prayer Calendar.
Prayer Fellowship Leaders- Conduct monthly Prayer Fellowship as assigned. Provide or appoint someone to have light refreshments available after prayer. Pray for creative ways to get participants involved in prayer session. Ask assistance from Founder for versatility in prayer method.
Watchmen-Individual DOES NOT need to reside locally. Responsible for covering assigned school/s in prayer. Make initial contact with assigned school by way of mail, e-mail, phone call, or sending a variety gift basket for the staff lounge. Feel free to use your creativity to make the CPS Prayer Council's presence known. Local watchmen are asked to visit the school at least once. If you are out of state, use the directory and ask someone local to visit the school on your behalf.
Communication Crew- These individuals will be responsible for making team members and community aware of upcoming events. Manage all email/mail for correspondence. Communicate with media outlets. Maintain Facebook Page as directed. Develop Council Directory of participants, contact info, function and school assigned.
All individuals must be willing to operate under a Spirit of Excellence. Realizing the urgency of this assignment, this is not a time for self glory or recognition. Please be prayerful regarding this assignment before making the commitment.
