Destructive Doctrines Will Cause Us to Deny Jesus
2 Peter 2:1
But there were also false prophets among the people, even as their will be false teachers among you; who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, EVEN DENYING the LORD Who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction?
Though persecution is never pleasant and always feared-a greater fear for us should be the false prophets and teachers; they are denying the Lord Who bought them. These are people who have never been truly save by the Power of God and His Holy Spirit and have not experienced the power of regeneration in the Holy Spirit by faith in Christ Jesus; or ones that have forfeited their salvation to follow the devil. These false prophets and false teachers are disrupting the unity and peace in the lives of the people of God and in God's Church's. These false prophets and false teachers are following shameful ways and not following Christ Jesus and they are bringing their sexual immorality ways into the House of God and in the lives of God's people causing the WAY of TRUTH to be defamed because they have not denied themselves and taken up their Cross to follow Christ Jesus, and if they are not following Christ Jesus then they are following the devil and God is about to deal with these false prophets and false teachers. We will see God deal with them if they don't fall down on their face to a True and Living God and repent from their heart and God the Father will deliver them and Jesus will save them and His Holy Spirit will come back and fill them, and God will do it because this is the Love of God. Because the Christian faith is in the WAY OF TRUTH not the way of a lie!!! Our life of righteousness responds to the Living Word of God and His Way of life that is in Christ Jesus is determined by Truth and the true knowledge of faith that's in God's Son CHRIST JESUS; which will always lead us to a Godly Living.
God's wrath is certain to fall on the false prophets and false teachers if they don't repent and come back to Christ Jesus. You may ask how will I know a false prophet or teacher 1) they are walking in the flesh not the Spirit of God, 2) they are despising the authority of God the Father, 3) they are rejecting the truth that's in the Word of God, and 4) their life does not line up with the Word of God concerning a true prophet and teacher of God....
