This is a report my pastor had me do and turn it. I hope it blessed you as much as it blessed me!!!

Matthew 10: 1-4

“And when he has called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits. To cast them out, and to heal all manner if sickness and all manner of disease. Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: the first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son oa Alpheus, and Lebbeus, whose surname was Thaddeus; Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot who also betrayed him”.

Matthew 10: 5-15

“These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go preach saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received freely give. Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses. Now scrip for you journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, now yet staved: for the workman is worthy of the meat. And into whatsoever city of town ye shall enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and there abide till ye go thence. And when ye come into a house, salute it. And if the house be worthy, let your peace return to you. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dist of y our feet. Verily I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than fort that city”.

Matthew 10:24-33

“The disciple is not about his master, nor the servant above his Lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as this Lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of this household? Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs on your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, y are of more value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess before my Father, which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

What is a Disciple? A disciple is one who embraces and assists in spreading the teaching and doctrine of another. It’s an active adherent, as of a movement of philosophy. A disciple is a follower as well as a believer, a person who is set apart from the world. A disciple is someone who encourages and build’s each other up. A disciple is not something you choose for yourself for the declaration of the bible according to John 15: 16 says “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you”. It amazes me how me knowing I have been chosen allows me to ask God for anything and I can get it. I thought it not robber to study up on the topic before I went into this report, due to the assignment God has for me. A disciple is someone who has been chosen by God to continue the spreading of his word. Christian discipleship is the process by which disciples grow in Christ and are equipped by the Holy Spirit, who resides in our hearts, to overcome the pressures and trials of this present life and become more and more like Christ. This process requires believers to respond to the Holy Spirit’s prompting to examine their thoughts, words and actions and compare them with the Word of God. This requires that we be in the Word daily studying it, praying over it, and all of that is worthless if you don’t OBEY it. According to Scripture, being a Christian disciple involves personal growth. I want to break this down into 5 points in which we should grow and operate in.

Point #1:

Putting Jesus first in all things. (Mark 8: 34)

 We as disciples and children of God must allow Christ to be the head of our lives. You can’t follow Christ when you don’t allow him to follow you! When you allow Christ to be the head of your life all things will fall right in line. You can’t have Jesus as the ruler of your life with some un-ruly things attached. You must be at a certain level to be able to let some things go that are not of God nor any good for your assignment that’s going to hinder you from at least thinking about it. In order for you to be able to think about it or to even know if you are chosen, you must first get an understanding. Proverbs 16:16 says “How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver”!

Point #2:

Following Jesus’ Teaching. (John 8: 31-32)

 As disciples we must train ourselves to be obedient to the word of God. As a disciple it is very important that you follow the commands of God. If you are attempting to be a disciple of Christ, without being obedient then the work you are doing is in vain especially when you are not chosen for this ministry. Matthew 4: 18 says “And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a new in to the sea: for they were fishers. And he saith unto them Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him. And going on from thence he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and Jon his brother, in a ship, with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them. And they immediately followed him”. If you are following Christ there is always a reward at the end, especially in obedience to his word.

Point #3:
Fruitfulness. (John 15: 5-8)

 There is a scripture in the bible that says “To be fruitful and multiply”, that is not the same interpretation of this point. In this point fruitfulness can be considered as spiritual growth. I will back up a bit and say this I think that the first act of fruitfulness we should advance in is OBEDIENCE. I don’t know why I keep getting tied up in that. But as we get more comfortable in obedience our lives will then be able to change and grow and that is fruitfulness. Another act of fruitfulness we can advance in is our way of thinking, talking, acting etc. That plays a major part in ministry because we are not representing ourselves we are representing God. People look at us and make the decisions on coming on to the other side by our code of conduct. If they see us acting foolish, they are going to think I don’t want to serve a God who’s people are confused and bewildered. For the bible says “For when I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child, but when became old I put way childish things”. Change spiritually starts in the inside with the holy ghost and then it will work and dwell on the outside. People then will see your good works and know automatically on sight that, you are a child of God that means business.

Point #4:
Love for other disciples. (John 13: 34-35)

 Love goes into detail in II Corinthians 13: 1-13. It shows us that love is not something we say but its strong emotion, its an action. It is out duty to love others as Christ Jesus has loved us. I mentioned in my last report that God loved us so much that he gave his only son to lay down for us, and at times we can be so despiteful and ungrateful. But we are to love others as disciples that the key to winning souls and ministering God’s word. You cant love a person and not minister to them or want to help them, and you can not love a person and minister to them. We can not walk worthy of a calling and not love one another. Again in my last report I mention the scripture that goes on to say that love is stronger than death. John 15: 12 says “This is my commandment that ye love one another as I have loved you”.

Point #5
Evangelism: Making disciples of others. (Matthew 28: 18-20)

 As disciples we are to go out and tell others about the work that God had done in us. If you take the time out to witness to somebody else about Gods goodness they may be persuaded to give God a try. Luke 14: 23 says “And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, they my house may be filled”. You never know who’s life you are touching, and as you a ministering about what God has done for you, their minds may already be made up. So just by you ministering to them you then have just brought God the best thing ever, another soul to be added to the kingdom. My mission is to just touch one somebody through anything that I do, and then that somebody touches somebody else. I just want my God to say those words and welcome me into the kingdom.

This has been a very interesting research project for me. I had the opportunity to minister to myself before it ministers to you and who ever else. I always knew what a disciple was but I never knew the background of it and what it requires. YES! I accept!!! At the level that I am on I will be more than happy to accept the call, and be faithful to the process in getting all that God has for me. I am so excited about where God is taking me and what he is doing in my life. I am up 2 o’clock in the morning doing this report and I am amped up on youtube having service by myself. I’m thinking about where I am going to be next year this time or even in the next few months. I know this is not going to come over night I fully understand that I am willing to wait as long as I have to for God to cut open, remove, insert, re-position, what ever I just want him to get the Glory when its all over and done with.
