Ephesians 4: 12-13} His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), (that they should do) the work of ministering toward building up Christ's body (the church). (That it might develop) until we all actually attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the (full and accurate) knowledge of the Son of God, that we might arrive at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ's own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him.

God has equipped us with everything we need to be effective in Him. He desires us to be a true image of who He is. His intention all along was to perfect us not only to do warfare but so that we can be there for one another to build each other up, to pray for one another, to protect one another. He desires for us to be so one that we develop the same mind and heart as Jesus Himself. Our personality should match that of Christ. We all know what the fruits of the Spirit are, this is what makes up Christ's personality. He doesn't want us to be just complete and mature in Him, He desires us to be completely healthy too. Sadly enough many Christians today are not. Why is that? Because most of them have stopped at being born again. They no longer go to church, they no longer study the Bible to rightly divide and show themselves approved unto God, they are no longer sitting under an authority who has been placed there by God, basically they have stopped at salvation and they are out there doing their own thing.

God said that in the end times there would be a falling away. More and more the world is pulling God's people away from the Body of Christ and they are missing a very powerful move of God. Many have become goats who butt their heads against the commands that God has given us. Instead they should be sheep following the leading and guidance of His voice. It is so important to run the race until we reach the goal. Many think that just being saved is all they need. Wrong! We are to be disciples and to walk this walk and do what God has called us to do. I have seen so many Christians who have been anointed greatly by God and the moment God begins to use them they walk away from the Body of Christ. They are not only hurting themselves when they do this, they are hurting others by not being connected and allowing God to touch others through them. Like it or not, many Christians today are in rebellion. And rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. We need to remember that. How Satan loves it when we allow him to separate us from where God has planted us. He put us there for a reason! Selfishness, self-centeredness, greed, and the Me, Myself and I syndrome is operating in Christians today and it should not be so. Our focus should be Jesus and the works He has called us to do.

There are two concepts that determine the victory and fruitfulness of a Christian. The first is maturity. Satan is very much opposed to our maturity and will do everything and anything he can to keep us from realizing who we are in Christ and what we can do. The second concept is freedom. Before we received Christ as our Lord and Savior we were slaves to sin. But when we receive Christ we are free of this and should not be operating in it. Yes, we fall short sometimes, but thank God we have a direct line to forgiveness. Being born again and living under the grace of God does not give us a license to sin and to do our own thing. Satan loves to keep us in bondage so that he can block our effectiveness as a Christian. If he can deceive you into thinking you are nothing by bringing up your past and feeding your thoughts with negative things, making you think you can't do anything right and you are a failure, then he will have a strong foothold and be able to control your habits. When God sets us free we would be amazed as to how quickly we will mature.

Many Christians today are in the same rut, doing the same things they did years ago and not moving forward, and on top of that making all kinds of excuses for not obeying God and His word. Then they wonder why they are going through the things they are going through. God can and will allow us to stay in our ruts if we don't push through and learn something in what we are going through. Most Christians won't even pick up the Bible and read it. They won't even obey one of God's most important commands: To study the word to rightly divide and to show yourselves approved unto God. It's good that we sit under some anointed teachers to be taught the word of God. But most people take advantage of that and feel because they are doing this they don't need to study the word at all. Wrong! They are in error and in the sin or disobedience.

God is moving in amazing ways in these days. I see that explosion of God's glory in my church. Find a church that is Holy Spirit filled and led and get connected. Never give up on your walk!! Get connected with the Body of Christ and stay connected. It's a protection over you. Stop letting the enemy put ideas and thoughts in your head that will pull you away from the Body of Christ. There is no such thing as a perfect church. If there's something you don't like about it, then pray! But stand firm! Otherwise you will get into a fallen state and stay there. This is not a time to be disconnected. God is bringing us into a unity that is amazing and powerful! Your walk is to be continuous throughout your life. It's a lifetime commitment! Pray unceasingly, study the Word, be led in all things by the Spirit not your emotions, be sensitive to the voice of God, put on all the armor, apply the blood, praise and worship God as you never have before and watch the blessings come down. We have our part to do. Let's stop being lukewarm or cold because in the end God will spit us out of His mouth. His words not mine! God is not having the excuse of being lazy and complacent any longer. He is looking for people who are faithful, consecrated, determined and obedient. Are you one of those people? Are you a goat or a sheep? Are you butting heads with your God? Or are you following in His footsteps? God bless you. I love you , but Jesus loves you so much more than I ever could.
