Divine Protection: Guarding Our Heart

Good Morning World! We must guard our hearts. It is through the door of the heart that we communicate with God. If we allow negative communication, strife, envy or offense to take hold in our hearts, Holy Spirit cannot abide with us. He abides in love. What is worth risking the loss of our communication with God? We must keep our hearts fertile ground for Him to speak to us. Guard your heart. Have a great day!

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23

Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. Psalm 15:1

My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding. Psalm 49:3

For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. Isaiah 32:6

My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. Psalm 45:1

They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak. Psalm 12:2

O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. Matthew 12:34

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Luke 6:45

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Ephesians 5:15-19

But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. 1 Thessalonians 2:4

Give your heart to God. Tell men what's in your heart. Tell God what's on your mind. Only He can care for both. Ava Gabrielle
