Does God Have An Eraser?

Revelation3:5} Thus shall he who conquers (is victorious) be clad in white garments, and I will not erase or blot out his name from the Book of Life; I will acknowledge him (as Mine) and I will confess his name openly before My Father and before His angels.

Too many of us as Christians today have the mindset that once saved always saved. I have been seeking the Lord on this and He showed me that He does in fact have an eraser. According to today's Scripture, God lets us know that we have to persevere and maintain a life of overcoming. This means we have to maintain our position with God. Overcoming secures our name in the Book of Life. Now many may argue that nothing can snatch us out of God's hands. That is true, it's God's word. But too often we forget that we take ourselves out of His hands by backsliding, disobeing and not continuing our walk with God.

We can find that God can and will blot names out of the Book of life all through His Word. Psalm 69:28 where David prays against his enemies by saying: Let them be blotted out of the Book of the Living and not be written with the righteous. I would really urge you to get your concordance out and do a study on this. Especially those of you who are backslidden. This is why God always speaks of a remnant. There are those who have always been faithful and obedient to God and to His word.

So for those of you who think you can get into heaven by the skin of your teeth, not walking the walk, not being just hearers of the word but doers, not studying God's word to rightly divide and to show yourselves approved unto God, forsaking the assembling of yourselves as the heathens do, I would really be quick to repent and step it up in your walk with God. God spoke a powerful word at our workshop on Saturday. He said it would no longer be the bless me club, or playing church. He is looking for a serious, dedicated, obedient and humbled people. We cannot serve two gods. He even spoke about how the television has become a god before our God. How this world has become a god before our God.

It's time to get serious and get reconnected with God and with the Body of Christ. No more complacency! God has me doing a bible study on spiritual complacency. I have put it on my site:

If any of you have become spiritually complacent or disobedient to God's word in any way....you are in danger! God is calling us back to our walk, to the church and to His Word. The Holy Spirit has exploded in our church. Why? Because we have been seeking God as never before! I pray each one of you will get connected somewhere before it's too late and Judgment comes. Great persecution is coming and we will need one another. If you are easily offended now, you need to build yourselves up spiritually and invest in an intimate relationship with our wonderful Savior!
