Are you down by the brook,
1King 17-1 The lord told Elijah, there would not be dew nor rain for theses years but according to my word. verse 3- Get thee and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.

Yes the world my be in a ression but God is not and the saints of God that trust him are not! We say we trust and have faith in God, Now you will know, Company's are closing more and more are losing their jobs, I've had whole families becoming homeless for the first time in theirs lives, don't know what to do or where to go, in need of food and shelter, looking for jobs, if the educated can't find work, what about thoses without an education and being exofenders that have turned their lives around. its time to truely trust God now , really be sold out to God, in order to be able to stand, and to hear what God is saying. Where are you standing? Are you down by the brook?

VERSE 4- and you shall drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. VERSE 6- The reavens brought him bread and flesh morning and evening.

God will take care of his servants, he is our all and all are we depending on God, or what we have or the world, we best depend on God, What is it worth a man to gain the whole world and to lose his soul.

VERSE 7 - It came to pass after a while that the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land.

Your riches may dry us, your job could be lost in this ression who and what are you trusting in today? Your Wealth, your abilty, where would you be without God? But Elijah waited to hear from the lord.

VERSE 8- And the word of the Lord came unto him saying, Verse 9- Arise, get thee to Zarephath which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there; behold, I have COMMAND a widow woman there to SUSTAIN thee.

We must wait on the Lord, and Listen, and then obey, don't be in a hurry to move but arise at his word trust him. You know the story. He did as he was told and the women did as the man of God said and they both were blessed. A two fold Blessng, If we are the servants of God, he will provide for his own and others that bless his servants. STAY BY THE BROOK UNTIL YOU HEAR FROM GOD.
