Effective communications in ur relationship requires that you discover not only how to hear each other words but also to read each other feelings. So listen to what she/he is feeling instead of what he/she is saying, when she/he is yelling, he/she shuts down or leaves the house it's because she/he is hurt/frustrated and don't know how to voice it- when u pick up on this respond with a sense of compassion not anger

Certainly it is our Character. The gifts are perfect and will always be. The gifts and the anointing that empowers each of us to minister comes from God and needs no improvement. It is WE who are on the God's potter's wheel. And God continues to mold and remold us. Each time holding us up hoping to see himself reflected back. It certainly is our character that is more important to God.

I have to agree with character; yes, gifts bring God all the glory and praise, but people look at what you do and how you act when you say you are a child of God. That is my constant prayer is for God to wash and purge me from all unrighteousness that I may bring glory, honour, and praise unto His name.

Character (Godly) will sustain us and take us beyoynd our gifts, and will cause us to stand therefore, wheree our giftings "fail". The absence of character where gifts are evident, set the gifts up for destruction, and open the doors for familiar spirits and other demonic infiltration. It is the absence of character that determines or separates a Prophet of God operating under the unction, and dictate of the Holy Spirit from that one with the same gift who has become no more than a "sooth-sayer", a merchandiser of the Gospel, and a hireling.
