Eunuchs and Homosexual Males, Are They One and the Same?!
Hi believers, I've seen many posts on "Homosexuals'. I've not gone into them as I'm not a preacher to say what a preacher should or should not do with regard to homosexuals in the congregation. However, as a believer I will comment on this subject matter because one of my childhood male friends falls into the 'homosexual' category. He is what they are calling 'transexual' i.e. 'a male who feels like he's a female trapped in a man's body.'
Now, as said, I've known this young man since my youth. I was 11 yrs. old when we met. We grew up in the same middle class, blue collar, hard working, African/American environment. We went to the same schools. We attended the same Baptist church. His wonderful parents are Christian people who had to deal with this dilemma. They took him to psychiatrists and the church pastor to get healed, nothing happened. His father utterly scorned him, as of course, this is a difficult thing for a father to have to deal with. You know, all that macho manhood stuff. Yet, he dearly loved his son.
Anyway, to we his friends, he was just one of the girls, so to speak. He was a gracious young kid, brought up with the same decent, Christian values as everyone in the African/American community. He was not promiscious either. We often talked about this matter and at one point he came to the conclusion that he was just a feminine male. I mean, to behold him, he is obviously effeminate.
He left the church because he was self-conscious and felt that every time the preacher spoke on homosexuality, everyone looked at him. He felt rejected. Well, we all know that the Bible says, 'homosexuality' is wrong. However, I always felt that he was first and foremost a human being. As we talked on these matters concerning him, I always told him that he is first and foremost a human being who God made and whom God loves. I told him to never forget that. I told him to just look on the other matter as a struggle just like we believers have struggles in different areas. When I was younger, I always struggled to keep my weight at the right size. His struggle would then be to pray to God to lead him on through this difficulty that was upon him. Yes, in our youthful Christian mindsets, this is how we handled the matter.
However, now I am well matured and wiser. In my late 20's I moved out of our home state. We parted, and I hadn't seen him for over 20 yrs. and when I did, HE was now a biological SHE! Wow, eh? God help him. I was pained beyond words as I love him and his family dearly. I was pained for his dear parents, who by the way, now accept him/her because they love their son. What are they going to do? The deed is done. Prayer is now the only answer.
Not only is it the only answer for my beloved childhood friend, it is the only answer for homosexuals everywhere. Prayer and extending goodwill and love to those conflicted hurting souls. Indeed, as I thought and prayed on this heartbreaking matter with regard to my friend, what came to mind is the 'Eunuch' matter. Yes, I was reading Scripture one day, about the 'eunuch' and I wondered if there was a connection between homosexual males and the eunuchs of the Bible? I wondered this because of what was said about the eunuch is the book of Esther. The book of Esther tells us that the King's eunuch favored Esther, and helped her with the right fashion and style to please the king (Est. 2:8,9, 14, 15).
I wondered if these eunuchs were effeminate males? They knew and loved fashion just like many homosexual males of today know and love fashion. Ever watch 'America's Next Top Model? By the way, pray for Tyra Banks, she is a blessing in that she is opening the doors and showing the world the beauty of young African/American women.
Anyway, Jesus said, 'some were born eunuchs' (Matt. 19:12). Are the effeminate born males modern day eunuchs? I found one article that believes they were indeed the eunuchs of the Bible. In fact, the article states, that 'one of the root words for eunuch is homosexual male'

If this is true, then when Yahshua stated, 'some were born eunuchs,' He was acknowledging the existence of the effeminate male. This message alone would be a comfort to effeminate born males, and could be the very first step to leading them to the God who acknowledged them. I believe it would have a soothing effect upon them to know that Yahshua, the Son of God, acknowledged their effeminate born state. I believe it is the key to their deliverance and comfort. Afterall, Yahshua came to seek and save 'all' that are lost.' He would have 'all' to have life and that more abundantly as we dwell on planet Earth. Instead of discarding those who profess any form of homosexuality and leaving them to the will of Satan, we should preach this powerful message of truth to them that the captive may go free.
