FAITH

Don't build our house on a career. Don't build our house on a thrill. Don't build our house on a talent. Don't build our house on one solitary earthly relationship. Don't pursue things that don't last. Build our house on the only thing that can last: Faith.
Do we have faith? If we have faith, then we have what it takes to tackle our problems before they tackle us. If we have that confident hope, then we will know how to handle whatever life brings us.
One thing no one can take away from us is our faith. This world can and may take everything we have. But no one can take away our faith. Grab that faith; clutch tightly that anchor of the soul.
Make our faith an independent dogged faith, firmly planted in God's sacrificed Son on the hill of Calvary. It can never be taken away from us.

FATHER, help us renew our commitment to You, to release everything and to be owned and possessed by You. We long to submit ourselves to You so that we might know the holy freedom available to us through Your grace. AMEN
