We are well into the first quarter of 2009 and Ricardo Miller Children’s Ministries has expanded our borders. We are taking the ministry to new levels. Already in 2009 we have hosted a children’s crusade, opened our International Children’s Ministry Headquarters, where our office staff operate and conduct the daily administrative functions of the ministry.

We have begun our School of Children’s Ministry Institute where local Children’s Ministers come to be trained and equipped to more effectively reach children. And just this past weekend, we held a Children’s Gala Banquet, where children dressed in formal wear and an atmosphere of excellence was the highlight of the evening. It was a sight to behold.

We have certainly been conquering new territory in reaching children. We take the call and mantle of God to change the world through children with great conviction. We are ever indebted to you for your partnership and for your standing with us each month in support of our ministry to children.

This month there are even more great things in store. Your gifts are making a difference. On Tuesday February 10, Pastor Ricardo will begin his term as a guest lecturer at Christ for the Nations College in Dallas, Texas. The classes he will teach will help foster and further our outreach efforts to children as he imparts wisdom and insight to future children’s ministry leaders.

Saturday February 21, we will be hosting a Parenting Workshop for parents and parents-to-be to strengthen the role of mothers and fathers in the family. On February 28, we will be hosting Super Saturday for kids, where we will be taking more than 150 children on an outing and skate date. Children from the community will have an afternoon of fun and enrichment, while also receiving the good news of the Gospel. We are certainly impacting the world of children’s ministry from all angles.

With your support and belief in reaching children, countless young people are receiving the Gospel. Our 1 Million Souls Campaign is well underway and every outreach effort is helping us get closer to the campaign focus. Thank you for all you do to help us as we reach them. We encourage you to continue to lend your support and we promise to keep evangelizing the world’s most fruitful mission field; children.
