FYI: "Swine flu" demons & our daily lives.....

Over the past few weeks, there has been a lot of concern generated towards the new “swine flu” epidemic! Just as everyone else, I must admit that I got caught up in the initial craze and scare of this H1N1 issue. I was getting paranoid of who was around me as well as standoff-ish of everyone that coughed or sneezed within my immediate vicinity. The fallout from the pandemic had me fearing for the safety of my family & I in the most major of ways! However, in the midst of my concern and fearfulness, GOD began to deal with me! HE deposited something into my spirit at the height of all of the adversities experienced by the arrival of this virus. HE took my mind back to the Biblical account of the man that had been possessed with a multitude of devils and gave his name, when questioned by JESUS, as Legion (Mark 5; Luke 8). Here was a man tormented by so many devils that he no longer knew who he was or what purpose his life had in this earth. However, when JESUS showed up, the devils within the man ran to Him and made the man fall at His Feet! After a minor discussion between JESUS and the demons, they asked Him if they could depart out of the man and enter into a herd of swine that were gathered nearby. After JESUS gave them permission to “Go” into the swine, the demons entered into them so harshly that it caused the whole herd of swine to run off of a nearby cliff and drown in the water below! This in fact noted 3 things…the deliverance of the man from the demons…the destruction of the swine…but also the further existence of the demons afterwards. Understand that they did not die with the swine because spiritual demons are not subjected to physical water. Therefore, they were left to exist for another time.
Fast forward to our modern day dilemma! None of us have any way of knowing whether or not the demons of that Biblical account are possibly tied into what we are facing today. However, this much we do know…the same JESUS who by His Word drove them out of that man back then still has Power over those same demons even now! HE made them leave the man alone simply by His Presence then…and He can cause the demons we face now within this “swine flu” to leave us alone now! Due to the news reports and the uncertainties of the situation, we have been made to focus on the infection rather than remember to rely on The Protection! We often forget that the same JESUS that did an Awesome work in the life of that man in The Bible can also do Awesome works in our lives today through the Power GOD gave Him (Matthew 28:18)!
Now…for sake of clarity…I am not saying that we are to be happy-go-lucky in our daily observations and healthy practices…for The Bible does say that we are to be as “wise as a serpent” meaning that we are not trusting of anything immediately around us except that which we can readily control (which isn’t too much). Therefore, heed to the observations issued! Wash your hands thoroughly & often with soap and water. Wipe down & disinfect surfaces that you spend a lot of time around. Use the alcohol-based hand sanitizers…and so on….! However, do not get so caught up in trying to guard against the outbreak that you lose your focus on The GOD of Omnipotent Abilities!! Remember, just as He was able to Heal that man back then…He can also Heal us & keep us even now! The demons that went into the swine that caused them to kill themselves back them can also be driven out of the swine by The Mighty Word of GOD even now! Do not be afraid of the outbreak…as long as you keep yourself under the Outpouring of The HOLY SPIRIT!! Do not let the infection make you lose focus of The Protection! GOD still is All-Powerful and still is Able to Keep all of us in the face of this crisis! Just keep your eyes lifted to the hills (Psalms 121:1-2)!
Also, I need to update you on two things before I conclude. First, ever since GOD shared that Revelation with me, my focus has been shifted back to Him! I no longer worry about “what if…” because I have been reminded that “He Is…”! I am no longer afraid of what the enemy has tried to create within me because I have been reminded of who I am & Whose I am! Second, I have also not hesitated to share this Revelation with my co-workers as well as the many different people on all of the social networks I am connected with (MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Tagged)! Since the release of this Revelation to me and my sharing it with others, I have noticed that the “swine flu” is now called H1N1 and no longer tied in to swine directly (demons hate to be exposed)! I also have noticed that I have been gaining more Confidence in GOD and assurance of what He is Able to do despite what the enemy may be in the midst of doing. I want to also Encourage you…my Friends…to boost your Confidence in GOD because He is…without a doubt…a Keeper to those who focus on Him throughout the storms of life! I leave you with this…for your Edification in Him…let’s consult what the Word of GOD says about confidence & being persuaded!

Psalm 27:3
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.

I Pray that you have indeed heard The Voice of GOD speaking to you over the past few minutes & that your Confidence in Him be not diminished but greatly increased!
