God got your back

I remember back in the early years of my life in my 20's I went through some things and realized that God has my back, even though it looked impossible at the time , but soon or later my time came when God stepped in and took care of the situation for me.

I knew in my heart that God was the one to help me in my time of need, because I had that wonderful feeling of peace surrounding me, and I knew God was there to take care of the situation. So we must keep faith and stay prayed up, it might not look like we will get help , but God hears our payers and see our tears, and he will touch us to let His feeling come into us to comfort us.

Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done.  Matthew 21:21

Look at what the Israelites faced at the Red Sea. Moses assured them that God would act on their behalf even though they could not see how. They could have responded “come on Moses, give it up, it’s been a nice trip, we’ve had a holiday by the Red Sea, it’s over!” But they didn’t do that, they went forward as Moses said, they trusted God’s purpose, that it wasn’t all going to end for them at the Red Sea, even though it seemed impossible, no way out. What does that say to us? Trust God’s purpose in your life and in those that you love. Trust him with our fate, our destiny. Like the Israelites between the Egyptian army and the Red Sea, let’s just do what God says. Look what God did! Sometimes we just have to trust him; things are beyond our ability or control, let God step in. Sometimes we just have to step back and be amazed at what God can do. If you are in the middle of one of those situations you may not know what God will do. He may heal, he may provide – but he will work out his purpose.

It’s far more than simply hoping for the best, it is a firm belief that the best will come in whatever shape or form God chooses to bring, but it will come. But what God is doing by giving the impossible to face is a great opportunity for his power and glory to shine through us. So trust his purpose, not just any purpose but his loving purpose. And remember God has your back.

"Have faith in God," Jesus answered.  Mark 11:22

Prayer: O God, I come before you with boldness and confidence that results from my faith in Christ, your Son.  Your Word impacts faith to my heart, Father, and I am determined to walk by faith, and not by sight.  I recognized that faith is the substance of the things I hope for and the evidence of the things I cannot see. I believe in you, Father, and I know that you are a  Rewarder of all those who come to you in faith.  Thank you for your goodness to me.  In Jesus' name, Amen.
