God, Why am I Never at the Right Place at the Right Time?

God Why Am I Never at the Right Place at the Right Time?

There is an obscure passage of scripture in the 84th Psalm. That Psalm records the following in verses 1-6 where it records the following words: (1)How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts! (2)My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God. (3)Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God. (4)Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah. (5)Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. (6)Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

In verses 5-6 the following words are recorded: Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee, in whose heart are the ways of them who passing through the valley of Bacca make it a well, the rain also filleth the pools. That word Bacca literally meant weeping so in the context of this text, this scripture speaks of those who could pass through a Valley of Weeping and make it a well. How many of us can make the best of being in a seemingly low place? How many of us can make the most of the various valleys that we encounter in life? This passage of scripture contains the Psalmist’s praise for those who knew how to make the most of the various bad situations that one will encounter in life, because of their extreme trust in their Heavenly Father! Why does it seem that a believer must travel such a winding and deadly road in this thing that we call life?

I humbly submit to you that if I had not been for the grace of God, many of us would have long ago succumbed to suicide, or various other mental maladies. Life can toss so many blows that many of us are punch drunk, Just when one has seemed to get pass the sting of the last deadly blow that life will deliver, here comes another punch. Yet, God is still Faithful! No matter how it may seem that others are traveling on flowery beds of ease, we all have our own burdens to bear. What are you doing with the place that God has placed you in? Why are there others that have come through the same circumstances as you, yet they are emerging victorious? God can lift you up no matter how desperate your situation may be! Do you have the faith to turn the lemons of life into Lemon-Aid?

There is no Right Place at the Right Time that is not ordained by God! God has already declared the end from the beginning. Would it not be plausible to make it our aim to spend time with a God that already knows what’s coming on down the road? Do we have the courage to bloom where we are planted? Have many of us missed our Acres of Diamonds because we were looking for the Right Place at the Right Time? With our loving Heavenly Father we can travel through the rough places in life with no fear! Is there another God anywhere that can bless those that are his while they are in enemy territory? We serve a God that is busy sending out invitations to your coming out party to all of your enemies! Let’s stop worrying about our circumstances, and know that we serve a God that can deliver no matter what one’s circumstances may be!

The Holy Writ alludes to the fact that those who faint in the day of adversity are not those who have real strength! Are you strong enough as a person and as a believer to make the most of the various valleys that one has to deal with on a daily basis? We all can turn a valley of weeping into a valley of victory if we maintain a sincere trust in a loving Heavenly Father! Yes We Can make the most of not ever being in the Right Place at The Right Time! Thank God we serve a God that can bless no matter where you are stationed in life! Yes he can bless you right at the address that you are living at right now! Yes he can bless with that same credit score that you have, with that same spouse that you have, with the same children that you have! Forsake the valley of weeping, and catch a hold of the Hands of God that can bless you no matter how horrible a mess that you are in! Can you make it in that place that has before contained nothing but tears for you? Can you believe that the long night of weeping in your life will soon turn to joy on the next morning? God is always the Right Person at the Right Place at the Right Time! Find him and you will find your Right Place at the Right Time!

Respectfully Submitted,
