Well, folks, I am out of the hospital. Got out today and feeling better. Just to let those know who don’t, back in 2005, I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. Well, from time to time, I would get what they call “flare-ups”, which is nothing more than the disease causing pain and inflammation. I had one Saturday of last weekend and was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. I was admitted Sunday morning and they ran a few tests to see what was going on. The X-rays and the CT Scans showed that I had an ileus, which is a obstruction in my small intestines. They did some more tests and found out something else.

The Nurse Practitioner came today to release me today and informed me that I had high blood pressure. I was shocked really, because I always thought that my pressure was regular to me because every time I took it, it was always the same. I would take it on one of those blood pressure takers that be at the pharmacy and when they give me the results that was defined as pre-hypertension. I just ignored it…honestly, I did. Until now, I had no idea that it was the case. She also told me that my kidney functions are borderline renal failure. Now that’s enough to get your attention!! As a matter of fact, I had thoughts of dialysis! I asked her was she serious, of course she said yes. Now, I have to take medicines for that and the Crohn’s!

Now, for my believer friends, I know that I am healed by the stripes of Jesus, but I do realize that I have to take care of myself so that I can glorify Him in my spirit and BODY, which are His!
