Gossip in the Bible:

You shall not go up and down as a dispenser of gossip and scandal among your people, nor shall you [secure yourself by false testimony or by silence and] endanger the life of your neighbor. I am the Lord.

Leviticus 19:15-17

The Bible is quite clear that gossip and rumor spreading are negative and ungodly acts. This proverb say it simply, and contrasts the gossiper with a godly person who faithfully keeps secrets that are trusted to him.

Friends ( Associates }, married couples, family members and others does not mean to talk wrongfully about somebody to cause a virus. A virus in this case is when others hear rumors and gossip that are wrong to hurt the person THAT YOU ARE REFERRING TO., causes them to spread the virus to others and so on.

God is looking at the gossipers even the ones that are listening to them and spreading more gossip. When you hear someone speaking negative about someone, do not get involved because you will be held accountable for your actions at JUDGEMENT DAY !!!

Do judge others by what you hear because you do not know if your friend, family member or your spouse is telling the truth.

God see all and know the truth about any thing. he is the only God and others that are telling you bad stuff instead of good words about somebody.

Also if somebody is giving you personal information that is not to be told to any one, they trusting you not to tell their information.

May we all try to make this a New Year Resolution for 2014.

May you all be bless in the name of Jesus.

Proverbs 11:13

He who goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy and faithful in spirit keeps the matter hidden.
