"Healing Hearts"
Praise the Lord men and women of God!!! I decree a new day in the lives of all of you that read this blog today!!
The Lord has led me to speak this morning on healing hearts and why it is so necessary for the time we stand in now, "as if it is not already noticeable why"as some may say. I speak this not because of economic times but because of what I hear in the rhelm of the spirit "spirit time" I dont say that as a carnal lingo but as a word to those that are in need of much healing from spiritual hurts and pains.As believers we will sometimes endure hurts and pains from a battle that we didn't know happened.
As an example: have you ever been on the job and while taking care of business bumped your leg on the edge of a desk and when you did it you kept moving but later that evening when you got home and settled you noticed a bruise in the place where it was hit, although you continued to move and it seemed like you weren't hurt later it surfaced and was noticeable that you were hurt. or another example have you every been writting and all of a sudden you go to pick up your papers and cut yourself, yes we all know about those paper cuts....although small it hurts so bad that it stops you in your tracks. Well my point in saying this is to show you the same significance in the spirit. We are praying, fasting, serving,ministering, pastoring,evangelising ect. but along the way some have had some buises and discouragement that is in need of some "spirit time" with God so that he can strengthen you again to continue in moving to the next level.
I would like to visit the book of 1Kings 19:1-8
This is where Elijah received the message of death from Jezebel after success on his assignment by God, notice that as he completed the assignment the attack came to destroy him, the enemy always will come immediately and attack Gods men and women that have been affective in the spirit on a God given assignment and not to just stop you but to destroy.I speak that the warfare that some of you are enduring has to do with your sucess in your calling and assignment so I enourage you to keep going.... also notice that I said Elijah received the message, we see that he did receive it because he fled to the wilderness and requested of God that he might die. I speak in the name of Jesus that you will not die and that the message that the enemy has spoken concerning you is null and void and that God will nurture you and your heart back to life. In the 5th verse we see just that!!! the angel of the Lord arrives and begins his restoration process on Elijah so that he can continue in his work. I see that some of you are weary even due to the lack of rest and just needing refueling an fed of the word for yourselves for what has been poured of you.The 7th and 8th verse speaks,( I want you to hear this in the spirit)' And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat: because the journey is too great for thee. 8) and he arose, and did eat and went in strength of that meat forty days and fort nights unto Horeb the mount of God.
Sometimes it feels like you just can't go on and that the journey is too great. I want you to see how God not only restored Elijah but he also brought him to a place to hear his voice it was in the still small voice that Elijah received instruction from God that lead him to others who would walk faithfully with him, until his race was finished.1Kings 19:15 " And the Lord said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus and when thou comest, anoint Ha-za-el to be king over Syria.16) And Jehu the son of Nim-shi shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel-me-ho-lah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room.
Men and women of God that are on this journey know that God has some people lined up to walk with you the rest of the way and they are ones that are chosen by him. Fear Not!!! because God will send the help you need to accomplish his will. Peace be Still and know that he is God for he will never put to much on you that you can't handle and whatever you are going through believe that God is nurturing you back to life even now!!!
Men and women working for the Lord!!!!! I pray that God will strengthen you with the meat of his word so that you can move forward to the place in God that he has called you in the name of Jesus. Jesus said in his word to the diciples that his meat was to do the will of the Father and none of the diciples understood what he meant, but today I pray that as you move to do the will of the Father as you rest in him for a "time in the spirit" he will nurture you and your heart back to health with his word( meat) to continue the journey in the name of Jesus.Be encouraged saints and remember to always " pray without ceasing" know that we are not defeated but are always triumphant in the Name Of Jesus Christ our Lord!!! just as Elijah.....

Evangelist Tori Johnson, if this blog was not for anyone else, it was for me. Starting with the example you gave on hitting your leg but keeping it moving, just to realize that night you were hurt. I had a situation happen where I had a conversation with my husband on Saturday, but did not realize I was hurt until Monday morning (this morning). I know God is preparing us for His work as my husband and I travel this journey into His (his) ministry. It's the same thing when it comes to our "church" home and people receiving me. God is preparing me. And He is showing me how to LOVE through it all.
Thank you so much for your words, and your obedience on writing this blog.
