As I sit in the middle of debris--preparing for transition---I am thanking God for every shut door (expected and unexpected) and for every opened door (unlimited possibilites). For the Bible states in Revelation 3:8, "I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name."

For every new beginning; there is an ending, and for every ending; there is a new beginning. Thank God for every blessing,--great and small. Pray for those who are less fortunate. The very fact that you are reading this e-mail is a blessing. Eyesight is a luxury that a blind man would love to have. This week, I finished my second book, "Know Your Worth! (Overcoming the Dragon of Low Self-Esteem) this week after changing the release date numerous times. I have endured so many attacks from the enemy, (some still fresh, so I will have to tell you about them later at the "appropriate time"), and I am being attacked at this very moment--but I stiil have joy! HALLELUJAH! This experience (writing the book) was figuratively like a "snake" shedding her skin. I had to travel back to some very painful times, and conduct some major cosmetic surgery. But now I have a new skin, a new perspective, and GREATER faith! "Watch out there now!" Seriously, watch out there now! "I'm stronger, wiser, better, so much better!" My editor, who I have not seen face-to-face, just communication through a computer, gave me the following feedback:

"Okay, I almost cried! The last chapter was great. It doesn't hurt that I adore Carol Burnett, but the whole chapter was upbeat and encouraging, and pointed out that – after you sharing so much of your personal story with the reader – we are friends, we have a connection, and the ending really got me. I liked it when you talked about how some of your readers could have been through even tougher experiences than you. It was like you were honoring them for surviving, and I think that is very meaningful because anyone who reads this book will have developed a deep respect for you by this point! I felt like you ended the book with a word of great encouragement AND a warm hug. I really liked the chapter called "Worship" too. Actually, I liked them all, but that one had me offering a few praises to God while I was reading it". Franci

We are going international on this one- a woman from India read an excerpt that I posted on the internet and contacted me also!

"Just wanted to say that your experiences hold good for women on the other side of the world too." Best Regards, Indu J." - - India
