I GIVE UP!
Have you ever just wanted to shout, "I GIVE UP!"?
I know that thought has come across my mind many times. But, as I was preparing today's Challenge, I was trying to recall the last time I actually said those words. It has been so long ago that I really cannot remember the last time I said it, though I can recall the last time I felt like saying it. The key here is that I have decided to listen to my spirit; not my body or emotions. My spirit, who is the true me and who is in constant fellowship with God's Spirit, is the one who guides me.
I will not be a quitter! God is not a quitter! Think for a moment of all God lost. He lost satan, a third of the angels, and mankind. But He did not quit. God did not give up! He made a way to turn everything around!
You may be experiencing terrible events in your life and ministry this very moment. You may be facing foreclosure, bankruptcy, unemployment, disappointment, illness, etc., but never give up! Increase your faith by doing all that you can do! Place your case into God's hands! There are many, many promises for you to recite throughout each step of each day. Psalm 20:4, Proverbs 16:3, Psalm 1:3, Isaiah 58:11, Isaiah 58:14, Phil. 4:13, Phil. 4:19, Col. 1:10-12
I challenge you to read each and every one of these verses aloud! Let both your inner and outer ear hear these words from God. And, remind yourself that these words come with a 100% guarantee that when you put them into action they will always work and do what they promise to do! There is no expiration date on God's Word! Use it! Shout it aloud! You will receive the answer to your need! Isaiah 55:11 is your written guarantee from God.

We have friends in ministry who are experiencing challenges and are believing in our God to raise a standard against the floods that have come into their lives. If you are feeling defeated today, do not listen to your feelings. Listen to God's tender voice through His Word. Defeat, discouragement, and despair do not belong to you. They are not from God nor are they for God's children. You are MORE than an overcomer through Jesus Christ!
