The life and times of Eric (E-BOOGIE) Wade!! Growing up in Washington D.C. at a early age the hand writing was on the wall. Everyone in my family knew that I was different. I was always an entertainer. My uncle told my mother that you have something special there in little Eric. At the age of 6 years old he said to my mom that I will be a Comedian. I started entertaining people at the family reunion. Then, I had kids on the floor in grammar school. I later went on to be one of the most hilarious guys in junior high school. Everyone knew I was destined for humor and television . . . winning all kinds of talent shows.

Then I went down to Howard University and met a lady named Jackie and she said "E-BOOGIE" you are very funny, could you open up for my show at the Blackburn Center and I was like no, no, no!!! She said you can do it so I went out there and the house was packed and I ripped it up!!!! I ended up getting a standing ovation!!!! I knew I was on my way, she also gave me 50.00 dollars, but it was not about the money… It was about making people laugh; it's what God put me on this earth to do.
