"IDOLATRY IN THE CHURCH" GREAT IS GOD'S WRATH AGAINST HIS OWN CHURCH!

Idolatry in the Church

The Church has greatly been influenced to incorporate idolatry into worship. The devil has cleverly disguised idol worship in the church to be accepted as ordained or sanction by the Lord! Unknowingly we have assimilated paganism into Holiness. Unconsciously we are worshipping the devil in disguise. (Great is the wrath of God against His own Church) Perhaps this is why there are only occasional manifestations of the real Power of God in the churches.
Idolatry is an abomination to God! Jeremiah 5:25 states that your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.
Much of this influence will be the result of the devils infiltration of the church by his agents! These scriptures will help identify these agents, tares and ministers of deception!
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Acts 20:28 28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
2 Corinthians 11:11 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of, shall be according to their works.

We are living in the “Last Days” and this church era is prophetically characterized and depicted by the Laodicean Church in Revelation.
Revelation 3:14 ¶ And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. (mammon is the God of the Church, money is worshipped as a god!
Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (material wealth that has a debasing influence; an idol)
Revelations 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: (Luke 12:21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God, and James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?)18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. (Faith is symbolized by gold-1 Peter 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Revelations 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. (This chastening is also coming to American! Most Americans are in a stupor!)20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. (this means all churches)
Not only are many of the churches coveting monies, or mammon, which is idolatry, but also they are also indulging in image worshipping, which is idolatry. Image worship is forbidden in the Bible! (A visual or mental representation of something; likeness)
Deuteronomy 4:15 Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire: 16 Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female, 17 The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air,
18 The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth: 19 And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.
We are forbidden by scripture to even make an image of the Lord Jesus Christ! Virtually every commercialized image of the Lord is grossly incorrect! The Bible says in Isaiah 52:14, “as many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man and his form more than the sons of men:”
This literally means how severely the Savior was disfigured beyond recognition!
The question we must ask ourselves why are there so many idolatrous image of Jesus that aren’t even accurate? Why is this tradition so strong in the church? Why are there so many interpolations in our Christian Doctrine, unwritten and handed down by traditions? (Interpolation means to alter or corrupt by inserting new or foreign matter or to insert (words) into a text or into a conversation; also to introduce “something additional or foreign” between other things or parts; interject; interpose.) Yes, we are worshipping the God of Creation and the Bishop of our Souls in “idolatry!” Before you deny these truths make sure that your denial in based on your foundation or premise to engage into these interpolations! Don’t base your denial on refutation of the this proposition. (Refutation; to prove to be false by argument or evidence – something offered for consideration or acceptance)

Matthew 15:1 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, 2 Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. 3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? 4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. 5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; 6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. 7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

The below list of words can be and are used interchangeably! The list is defined by a standard dictionary in its simplest form. In the Biblical context the only word of consideration is “tradition.” Culture is used as the word of choice by the world today!

Tradition: an inherited, established, or customary pattern of thought, action, or behavior (as a religious practice or a social custom) the handing down of information, beliefs, and customs by word of mouth or by example from one generation to another (without written instructions)
Culture: the customary beliefs, social forms, and material traits of a racial, religious, or social group
Customs: long-established practice considered as (unwritten law)
The Pharisees were questioning the Lord concerning their traditions that were held to be sacred by the leadership of their time. These no doubt were man-made because they were not the Commandments of God, but merely interpolations! (Interpolation means to alter or corrupt by inserting new or foreign matter or to insert (words) into a text or into a conversation; also to introduce “something additional or foreign” between other things or parts; interject; interpose.)

The Lord is plainly stating that the creations of their traditions (interpolations) were in direction violation to the scriptures and transcended the Commandments of God!
To simply put it, the churches are teaching “doctrines of men” that are in direct conflict with the “Word of God.” Interpolation is a device of the devil to “make the Word of God ineffective! (Matthew 15:6) They fall into the category of 2 Corinthians 2:11 satan’s devices and Ephesians 6:11 wiles of the devil.

Below is a brief list of interpolations that traditionally have been handed down throughout the church age through what is referred to as culture or tradition today! None, I repeat none of these words or traditions are written in the scriptures but are incorporated into the “Doctrine of Christ” why, why and why? —
“Deceptive Terminologies or Traditions”

Time does not permit me to give a full definition of these deceptive interpolations! We must ask ourselves; do we defend truth or the tradition of men?

1. Theology - a philosophical study of religion
2. Philosophy - an intellectual pursue of earthly wisdom (James 3:15)
3. Destiny - The Greek goddess of Zeus and Themis
4. Fate- one of the three goddesses which were known as the “Moirai.”
5. Christmas - ceremonies predate Christianity, therefore pagan in origins
6. Christian Psychology - a branch of philosophy until the late forties
7. Divine Providence - personification of a Greek goddess
8. Shekinah Glory - shekinah is the feminine gender for God!
9. Rapture - the Latin “raptu”s, meaning, “seized and taken, kidnapped and “ rape”
10. Nemesis – the Greek goddess of retribution and indignation
11. Easter - the Greek goddess for the spring season
12. Fortunate or Luck - Greek mythology
13. Image worship - the likeness of things (crosses, pictures and symbols etc.)

May this letter be given the utmost prayerful consideration and research! If you cannot Biblcally prove your position then why are you worshipping God in idolatry? This is not a personal attack, but “a defense of the truth.” Philippians 1: 17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defense of the gospel.
