I'M NOT A WRETCH, I'M TOTALLY SAVED!!
I find it appalling, when talking with someone who claim he's a Christian, strongly believe in the knowledge and understanding that Jesus was actually beating to pulp with his skins shredded, his wrapping clothe soaked wet with the blood dripping all over his body, crowned with thorns, made to walk miles carrying an heavy cross while being ridiculed and being spit on, and him finally made it to his crucifixion site,got nailed to the cross and was hanged on that cross. With all that done, yet just for you to accept that your sins, has been wiped away remains an issue!
Why believe at all if you know that you ever gonna be a wretched sinner all your life and nothing can change that fact!
Whenever I heard the word, "We have all sinned" or "I'm unworthy" from a believer, I cringe, that in this day and age, people still think humans, beings that were created in the image of God, beings that Jesus Christ, the so-called only begotten Son of God, came down from the heavens to wash clean, can still refer to themselves as being wretched! "What do you want?", I sometimes want to look them straight and ask! "He washed you with his own righteous bloody blood, you ungrateful bastards!", what else do you want!! Crystal balls to hypnotized your brain into thinking that you are really saved!. "I know you once was born sinful and everything, but are you not saved yet?" Jesus getting beat down alone should count for something.
I guess I reckon a God who says "You are the salt of the earth", expects his own to go out there and make the world taste better, and not have it filled with the wretches quite a lot of people seem to think they are! I mean, what is the point of claiming to have Jesus Christ in one's life if all that happens is that one remains (or, to be exact, and as the words imply), all that happens is that it makes one become a wretch? If only his own would stop using brimstone and fire to damn people into filling their pulpits, or better still, if people could learn!
I happen to know that God is a tard more graceful than to see wretchedness in people. I might be somewhat ignorant, but I am sure God would be able to reason that if His creations are wretches, then He cannot quite be the Master Builder that many think he is then, can he?! Just imagine. If He was that incompetent, then Mars will definitely be hitting into Jupiter often, and earth will be no more by now, and we sure by Jove would not have any peace on here, ever!
Still don't take my word for it. But if you are a creation of God, you cannot but be perfectly made, and that means you ain't a wretch by any shot of the imagination. A God, who is Almighty et al, just can't be that incompetent!
