Is Jesus God?

Many are asking this question, trying to find an answer.
Some say yes, some say no, and some are not sure. So then how can we find out who this Great Messiah is, God or Christ? First lets look at a little contention in the preaching of the Gospel. Many Churches today, and in the past, are preaching Jesus only, some God only and even some, God and Jesus only, without the Holy Spirit. All three of these are wrong. We shall show you why.

In Matthew 29, We see the Christ speaking of three separate Deities and not just one or two, Why? We know from Gen 1:2, God is mentioning two separate Deities, Himself and His Spirit, for one cannot be separated from the other. In Gen 1:26 we see God speaking; And God said, “Let us make man in our image.”

He was not speaking to the Angels. The same applies in Gen.3:22 & Gen.11:7. So you say,”Then where was Christ in Genesis?” In John 1:1-2 we find the answer; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
The same was in the beginning ( This is not a beginning as we are accustomed to. But a beginning of His creation of what we now call the universe.)(Visual) with God.

In John 1:1-2 ,“The Word” is Jesus. Surprised? Don't be, for John continues to present the word in the flesh; John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh (A Visual representation of God.)(Emmanuel=God with Us.), and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Notice in your Bibles the word ”Word” is capitalized, designating a first person context. Also we need to look at these words from the text,”as of the only begotten of the Father “, ”as of “ is stating that Jesus was never,”Begotten” but that His existence is attributed as being so, for God and Christ have always been. The Bible is written in its simplest form, to alleviate any misrepresentation of what it is implying.

We see this in, Proverbs 8:22; “The LORD “possessed me” (influenced or controlled by a powerful force) in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning (This is again not referring to an actual beginning but to a starting point of God creations of all visible things.), or ever the earth was ( Before the Earth was Created.). ”Philippians 1:15-17; Some indeed preach Christ even of envy (Envy springs from pride, ambition or love, mortified that another has obtained what one has a strong desire to possess.

The power of envy is stated in Pro.27:4 : “Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?”) and strife (Exertion or contention for superiority; contest of emulation, either by intellectual or physical efforts.); and some also of good will:
The one preach Christ of contention (Strife in words or debate; quarrel; angry contest; controversy.), not sincerely (Not Honestly; Not with real purity of heart; with simulation or disguise;), supposing to add affliction to my bonds: But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defense of the gospel. In Pro.8:35-36, we find the

Christ speaking about two separate people, Himself and The Lord. "For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death." But in Gen 1:2, We see God speaking of Himself and His Holy Spirit. ” And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Then still again, Jesus spoke of all three in Matthew 28:19, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” Pro 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. In these next verses, we see a unique bond between Jesus, God and The Holy Spirit of God. This bond was before any beginning of anything. For All three are one. My interpretation of these and others that mention this bond is, “God sacrificed Himself to Himself, to save us.” Lets read a little to clear up a little more.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.(Here we see again 2.) Mat 17:4-5; Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.(Here again we see 2.) John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? (Here we see a little clearer that God and Jesus are one in spirit but separate in missions.)

But we must look at John 15:26, this verse gives us the answer to our question. ” But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me. (Here we see three. look closely at the word, ”proceedeth” this means, (To come from a source; originate or issue, Flow, Stem, Arise, Derive, Emanate.)

The Holy Trinity is God. God is, The Father, God is, The Son and God is, the Holy Spirit. John 16:28 I came forth from the Father ( See the answer, “came forth” = proceedeth and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. ars
Pro.1:33, 3:13-18; John.3:16, 3:36, 14:6; Phi.3:8; Col.3:3; 1Jo.5:11, 5:12
