It is a Trick and You Are the Treat:

October is the month when the helliday call Halloween is commemorate all around the world. Beneath the Halloween candy, coating is a history of diabolical evil. Halloween has always been a helliday of death. It is associated with fear, evil, the devil, death, and violence. This helliday is a celebration that focuses on the mutilations, torture, and bizarre murders as a form of entertainment.

This is not innocent fun; there is a darker and sinister side to Halloween that many are not even aware of the evil that is directly connect to the Occult. This month I will take you through the Bible to show you what God has to say about Halloween, and all other occults.

How Did Halloween Begun?

The Celts and their priests, the Druids, is a Northern European Scandinavian group from Great Britain and Ireland celebrated “Samhain,”(Saman) which was a festival that marked the eve of the Celts (keltics) New Year. This celebration which began on November 1^st was consider to be the time when the sun god lost his strength because Sam hian (Saman) lord of death was gaining strength.

The fall harvest was complete, winter months were coming, and it was believe that during the next couples of months, darkness would prevail. The Celts (Kelts) believed that during “Samhain” (Saman) season, the veil separating life from death was at its thinnest. They believed on the evening of October 31^st, the evil spirits and souls of the dead, would passed through the barrier and visited the world of the living. The Celts (Kelts) believed that these spirits could cause all kind of havoc. They also believed that they could talk with the dead, and departed love ones. They believed that they could divine the future. The powers of darkness were conjure up on “Samhain”. (Saman) day and the Devil himself was called upon would foretell of future events. Now you know were the Psychic gets their knowledge and even were some in the church get their ability.

Matthew 7:21-23 King James Version

21. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father, which is in heaven.

22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Here is an example of someone who conjured up the devil, in I Samuel in the twenty-eight chapter, in this portion of scriptures we will read and understand, what a familiar spirit is. We will learn how this type of demon works and how it enters into the lives of certain people and what the end is for the person who falls for the trick, call’s upon a soothsayer to divine the future. I am talking about believers who dabble in the hidden and secret art of the occult. Fall for the trick and you will be the treat.

I Samuel 28:7 KJV

7.Then said Saul unto his servant, Seek me a woman that hath a Familiar spirit, (a devil) that I may go to her, and inquirer of her and his servant said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor.

After Samuel death, the Philistines became bold, and fearless, the anointing was gone from Saul’s life. In addition, Saul became more afraid; there was no presence of the Lord. Saul had killed all the prophets, people were afraid of Saul for he was bewitched, he was mad. Now Saul is in trouble, he been trick and he has backslide to a point where no saint, no one could pray for him or tell him, “thus saith the Lord.” Saul who had placed an edict against witchcraft, and who had executed those, who had practice witchcraft and had familiar spirit (Demons), now was seeking one to tell divine him his future.

Exodus 22:18 KJV

18. Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

People who are involved in the witchcraft things are people who have turned away from God. They have rejected God. Saul was a person who was rebellious to God, and the Word of God says:

I Samuel 15:23 KJV

23. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou has rejected the word of the Lord, He hath also rejected thee from being King.

Rebellion is the same as witchcraft. Saul would not obey anything God told him to do. In doing so the Bible is quick to show us how Saul had open himself up to the Devil leading, therefore this evil spirit enter him, he became mad and Satan use his desire to divine the future as an door opening to have legal rights to Saul soul and body for eternality. It was a trick and Saul was the treat. Saul became insane.

So now, the great Saul who had placed an edict against witchcraft, and executed those who practice witchcraft now must turn to one. What a contradiction, Saul knew the heinousness of what he was doing or he wouldn’t have killed as many people as he had who had practice the worship of the devil. Nevertheless, as soon as Saul heard of this woman evil abilities to divine the future, Saul hastens to her by night, not wanting any light to be revealed on what he was doing that was in contradiction to the Word of God.

Therefore, Saul sneaks out at night to dabble in the occult with a soothsayer. Saul preached hard against witchcraft and people who had familiar spirits. Saul even had their houses and synagogues burned down. Everywhere the witches were at in town, King Saul would find them and kill them, yet the Bible tells us that Saul is creeping and sneaking around town at night, thinking no one sees, however God sees, and that no one will know, however God knows. King Saul is a hypocrite, because he is now doing what he commanded others not to do. It is a Trick and Saul is the treat.

8. And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and went,

and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and

he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and

bring me him up whom I shall name unto thee.

Saul puts on other raiment, other clothing has, takes off his royal robes and tries to disgust himself as someone else and goes out and seek a witch and knocks on hells door to see if anyone there, would will be friend him. He leaves out at night, thinking that no one will notice him or recognized him. He says to himself, if I cannot get the information I need from God then I will get it from the devil. “Divine unto me the familiar spirit,” “bring him up to me.”

Now King Saul was not ignorant to of the Word of God. Saul knew that the Bible had much to say about this type of worship and seeking. The scriptures informs us from Genesis to Revelation against fortune telling, in and out of the church.

Leviticus 20:6 King James Version

6. And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people

I Samuel 28:9-11 King James Version

9. And the woman said unto him Behold, (take into view) Thou knowest what Saul has done, how he hath cut off those. Those that have familiar spirits and the wizard out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die

10. And Saul sware to her by the Lord, saying As the Lord

liveth there shall no punishment happen to thee for this things.

11. Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up to thee and he said, bring me up Samuel.

The Bible paints a detail picture of this witch, who has a familiar spirit, working hard with all of her enchantments being determine to gratify the desires of Saul and brings up Samuel, but not until she is, reassure that she will not be sentence to death. Saul who is now spiritually dead; never consulted Samuel while Samuel was living. However, now he is willingly to summons hell to hear from Samuel. Now I want to give a word to those that read and do not understand what they are reading. This that she brought up was not Samuel; it had to be brought up.

Now, Saul wants to call Samuel up out of his rest to hear a word from the Lord. Look how silly this is. He goes to hell to hear from the Lord. I one time, this brother who was suppose to be a Christian told me that he could understand God better, when he did drugs, Sick! He goes to hell to hear from God, that does not make any sense. Instantly the women knew it was King Saul no, sooner than Samuel appeared.

12. And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud

voice: and the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why me? For thou

art Saul

13. And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest

Thou? And the woman said I saw gods ascending out of the

earth.

She saw demons, “gods” in the Bible with a little “g” means demons. This woman had the ability to see spirits coming up and out of the earth. She could discern spirits. People in the occult can discern spirits. Therefore, we see that people that operate in witchcraft are able to discern things in the supernatural ream. So do not be surprise when a physic gives you an accurate reading, the demon that are operating through the Physic knows everything there is to know about you and your family, demons are older than dirt, they know your whole life history that is why they are call familiar, because they are familiar with your household.

14a. And he said unto her what form is he of?

Apparently, Saul could not discern, and apparently, Saul could not see what she saw, because he did have a familiar spirit, he had an evil spirit, but it was not a familiar spirit. Different demons have different assignments, different manifestation.

14b. And she said, An old man cometh up and he covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel and stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.

Saul sought for information from a witch, a psychic, why because he was fearful of his future, because of his constant rebellion against Lord. Anytime you call a psychic to read the future, and speak to you, using tarot cards or Oji board you are dealing with familiar spirits and once you do that, they are allowed to enter you, because you gave them permission. Thereby these spirits can do what ever they want to do to you because who ever you yield your member to that is whom you belong to.

15. And Samuel said to Saul Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered: I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, not by dreams: therefore I have called thee that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.

Now remember the witch of Endor stated that she saw god’s god with a little (g) meaning demons ascending from the earth. We know that the word ascending means to rise up, or to go up from a lower level, to a higher level. We also know that this woman was able to discern she was able to see spiritual visions. Therefore, since Saul came to the witch in disuse, Satan decides hide himself to Saul. This was only an evil spirit impersonating Samuel. Remember God did not want Samuel to have anything to do with Saul while he was living, why would he allow Samuel to come to Saul in death? God rejected Saul.

Therefore, Saul makes his complaint to the fake Samuel; “I am sorely distressed, the Philistines make war with me”. No kidding”, Satan is acting as if he is Samuel; Saul has no discernment, that he is not talking to Samuel but to a demon. So the demon gives Saul a stone cold answer, with the intent to drive Saul towards self-destruction, “You are going to die,” which happen, the Philistines came up against Saul and kill his sons, this action caused Saul to want to kill himself. It was a trick and Saul became the treat.

What is a trick you may be wondering? A trick is an action or device designed to deceive, cheat, or outwit another, and this definitions comes from the Webster Dictionary. A treat is food or entertainment. A treat is anything that gives great or unusual pleasure, delight or entertainment. Saul got trick, and he became the devils entertainment piece.

I Chronicles 10: 4 KJV

4. Then said Saul to his armor bearer, Draw thy sword and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his Armour bearer would not; for he was sore afraid. So Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.

Why did Saul Die?

13. So Saul died for his transgression, which he committed

against the Lord even the word of the Lord, which he kept not,

and also for asking counsel of one that Had a familiar spirit, to

inquire of it.

So what have we learned from this?

1. Halloween began when people thought they could conjure up Saman to foretell of future events.

2. We see in I Samuel 28 that witchcraft does not begin when you go to a physic, but it begins when you disobey God’s Word.

Why did Saul die?

The answer is in I Chronicles 10:13 KJV

13. So Saul died for his transgression, which he committed against the Lord even the Word of the Lord, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that has a familiar spirit, to inquire of it.

3. We also see that God does judge his people. God didn’t take Saul life, but he allowed it to be taken. Which was a part of His judgment?

4. Saul lost the anointing; therefore, the devil was able to do pretty much what he wanted with Saul.
