Tired of feeling stuck in your life? Have you asked the question, what has me continually here in the same place in life? I've experienced this feeling first hand, stuck can't seem to move forward. I have found the reason that we can't move forward in life is because we are holding on for dear life to past things. Looking for success and can't find it, looking for love and it just won't come around. It's a evil circle, it's called bitterness. Bitterness is difined by the Webster dictionary as having a harsh taste, hard to bear; disagreeable, cruel; sarcastic. Bitterness is a root, a weed of sorts, it grows deep roots and chokes the life out of the living things in your life like, love, dreams, standards, and aspirations. This root stems from rejection, rejection from failure, parents, boyfriends, girlfriends, peers, society and Life in general. Rejection is defined as thrown away as useless; discard, refuse to accept; decline. This is most people life story, and if not, wow you're in serrious denial. Rejection always leads to bitterness. Bitterness drives us all different, but what it does is lie to us. One might take bitterness and make it their driving force to be successful, but in reality the person isn't happy and doesn't feel successful or accepted at all. Another person may take bitterness and it leads them down the path of addiction, but it lies to them and tell them they don't have a problem everyone else does. Someone else may take bitterness and it causes them to sabotage eveything good that comes in their life, because bitterness tells them it's not real nor could it ever really happen to them because they don't deserve it. As long as you allow bitterness to control you, you will miss out on the true destiny and purpose for your life. So how do you deal with bitterness? The Bible says in Ephesians chapter 4:31,32 "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." The key of getting rid of bitterness is forgiveness, realizing what has you stuck. You can't change what you won't acknowledge and neither can God. You must see you for you and your why you are as your why you are. Then and only then can you be real with God, yourself, and others. The first person you may have to forgive is yourself, for allowing this thing to take your life over. Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, thy mind and your soul, love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37-39) May your life be full of tenderness and love, May you be overtaken with forgiveness in your heart for yourself and others in Jesus Christ name.
