And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and true, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. Revelations 19:11

Faithful and true, this is what Jesus is to those of us who follow him. Your best friend is Jesus Christ he will be there when others abandon you. Even in your darkest hour he is there with you. I have seen him standing with evicted families out on sidewalks. I’ve seen him riding in the backseat with handcuffed young men and women headed to prison. I’ve seen him stand with the homeless person begging people for food. I’ve seen him standing with deserted elderly people in their lonely homes and apartments. This is the one called faithful and true. If you look back in your life you can probably see times when it was just you and him. I have seen him standing with those who were persecuted on their jobs, abused at home and ridiculed by so-called friends. He’s coming back.

When Jesus returns he will judge in righteousness and make war. The world will continue to decline until Jesus returns. Things will get so bad that all believers in God will be persecuted. Even right now there are wealthy powerful leaders, politicians, bankers and financiers who are profiting off of your unemployment, hardships and poverty. They will not be satisfied until you are a slave who owns and has nothing. But one day soon Jesus will come back and not only judge them but make war against the worldly wicked empires they have created for themselves off of your misery. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. Revelations 19:15

The sword that protrudes out of Jesus mouth is truth. The world and nations will have fallen into decadence and lies will be their weapon of choice but Jesus will overcome them with the truth of God. Rulers of nations will lead the people with lies and deceptions much like we are seeing today. The empire of the beast will be established on illusion and deceptions as well. Jesus will expose the lies and deceptions of all of them. Until Jesus comes back we have to keep truth before us it is also our weapon for surviving in the age of the beast. Jesus will rule them with an rod of Iron. In ancient times even before Christ the rod symbolized command and correction, some ancient sages thought the universe rested on a rod. Jesus will return with an indestructible iron rod, a symbol of permanent everlasting power and authority. The wealthy rulers of the world thought they had all power in their hands but Jesus will prove them wrong.
