Know Your Friends

The Easter Season reminds us of many things, the death burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. One thing we should be reminded of as well is that it was not Jesus' enemy who betrayed him but according to Matt. 26:50, Jesus called Judas, Friend. There are those who we run with, fight with, sleep with, eat with and just about do any thing with but at the end of the day, will they still be standing with you? There is only one sure person who will weather the storms with you; one person who will never leave you nor forsake you and His name is Jesus. He definately sticks closer than a brother.

So, when heart aches come at the hand of family and friends, just know that Jesus too went down that road. His reply was, "this has to happen". He had to suffer in order that scripture be fulfilled. Your pain at the hand of whomever had to happen to you in order for the will of God to be made perfect in your life.

This too, shall pass!
