Loose that Stronghold!
Hello all.....................A stronghold is defined as a fortress or a guarded territory that invades the mind and thought process holding it hostage.
Look in the mirror and say, "Architect." An architect is a person who designs buildings, houses, bridges, etc. They often use what's called a blueprint. They know all the tools needed to build the design that came to their mind. Hmmmm! Once it comes to their mind they then put it on paper and draw the blueprint. They then go out and hire a company to assist in building what came to their mind. The company only knows what the architect shows them and tells them because the design didn't come to their mind. The design came to the mind of the architect. They set a time frame in which the design will be completed. What's the point to all of this? I'm glad you asked. We are architects of our strongholds. We get a vision in our minds of this demonic oppression. Then through lack of faith and trust in the Lord, we begin to build our own strongholds. We know what tools to use and how high we want the stronghold. We even fund the stronghold we build without realizing that it's holding our mind hostage. When we go to God and ask for deliverance from what we've created and His response is, "I've set you free from this years ago. You keep going back to it."
THOUGHT OF THE DAY....................................
"Then the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord. So the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian for seven years, and the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel. Because of the Midianites, the children of Israel made for themselves the dens, the caves, and the strongholds which are in the mountains." Judges 6:1-2
"And it came to pass, when the children of the Israel cried out to the Lord because of the Midianites, that the Lord sent a prophet to the children of Israel, who said to them, 'Thus says the Lord God of Israel: 'I brought you up from Egypt and brought you out of the house of bondage: and I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of all who oppressed you, and drove them out before you and gave you their land." Judges 6:7-9
As you see here the children of Israel built their own strongholds. They were free physically but still mentally bound. Many of us are free physically but we are still thinking about the man/woman that walked out of our lives. That person has moved on with their life but you are still bound. You don't realize that they had to leave you in order for you to be free. God tells the children of Israel that He already freed them from the hand of the Egyptians and then gave the Israelites their land. God has already delivered you from the very thing you keep asking Him to bring you out of. Your mind is stuck because of the stronghold you built. Yet there is good news if you truly trust in the Lord. Since you are the architect of the stronghold, you are also the one that can destroy it! Loose that stronghold today and be free once and for all.
