Lord, How Do I Say It?

Lord, how do I say it without appearing rude?
Lord, how do I say it without ruining her mood?
Lord, how do I say it without sounding fake?
Lord, how do I say it without appearing deceptive like a snake?
You see, I just saw my friend’s boyfriend hit her in the face with a rock.
Her face started to swell up but she told me not to call the cops.
Her eyes appeared as if she was related to a raccoon.
She turned and looked at me and said, “He won’t hit me again, he will change soon.”
He will change soon I said, when, when you are on oxygen and strapped to a hospital bed?
Or when you are in your grave and your children will be crying because you are dead?
She said that she would not leave him because he said that he would not pay child support.
I said he does not take care of your children now; you live in a roach infested slum, not some holiday resort.
The only reason your children are fed now is that you work two jobs.
Yeah you said that he has money but it is from someone that he robbed.
Lord please, how do I say it, she needs a way out.
I know that he will kill her some day and that is without a doubt.
The Lord said, “My child, I will deliver her from this and that is a guarantee,
All you have to do is pray and leave the rest to me.”
I said, I already prayed on my knees until they almost bled.
He said, “Yes you prayed but it was the words you said.
The words you said were against him, you prayed for vengeance.
But vengeance is mine; if he does not repent and change, I will give him his sentence.”
When I heard these words, I called her and then we went to church and knelt at the altar.
She had sunglasses on and I asked her to take them off when she took them off, I saw a knot below her eye that was almost the size of the rock of Gibraltar.
When I saw this, I began to sing this song, “I belong to Him, Yes I do.
I belong to Him. Yes, it’s true.
I belong to Him, and you do too,
Just give Him your heart; you’ll have a brand new start.”
She began to weep and said “Lord please repair my heart.”
At that moment, I saw a change in her face.
We left the church and drove back to her place.
Her boyfriend was sitting there as usual and said, “Where have you been?”
She said, “You have to leave or else I’ll call the cops” but I could see that she was holding back tears within.
He stepped to hit her but this time she did not flinch.
She said, “I will call the cops if you move another inch.”
As we stood there, their oldest son stepped in.
He picked up a bat and started hitting his father in the shin.
She told their son to stop hitting his father, “An eye for an eye is never right.”
She picked up the phone and called cops but her boyfriend ran out the house with all his might.
Hours later, we heard that he was arrested.
When he went to court, the judge sentenced to him five years in jail because he decided to plea bargain as his lawyer suggested.
Five years passed by and he was released from jail, he went to her house and asked her to take him back.
At this time she had a very successful job and a very beautiful house, she turned and looked at him and said “your backs are packed.”
He said, “I am sorry about the way I treated you, please forgive me”, she said “I forgive you but I won’t put up with getting hit anymore.
I love myself too much to put up with that and who knows if you have changed, you are not welcome in my house” and then she shut the door.
Her story ended on a happy note
However, I am here to tell you, if you do not leave the person who is hitting you, maybe your story won’t.
