Jesus' commandment to us was to love each other as he loved us. So why is it so difficult for us to reach out to our brothers and sisters when they need someone? I am not talking about those who live in the world. I am talking about those who are supposed to be members of the "Body of Christ". We have gotten to a place where we have allowed "ourselves" to be the focal point of our lives. Do we care about each other? Maybe. But it comes with a price. We have gotten to a point to where we only love the people who exhibit love to us. Is it fair? Is that what God wants from us? Think about it: We find our marriages, our relationships, friendships, and congregations divided because we are not able to get out of ourselves and step into someone else for a moment. We have been caught up in our own self-righteousness only to leave ourselves lonely and hurt once again. We have decided to allow society (satan) to dictate to us how we should treat each other. It's okay to be indepedent, it is nothing wrong with that, but remember God created man and woman one for another, and if that were not so, he would have created Adam and Eve on two different sides of the Garden of Eden and they would've had to fin for themselves until they found each other. Instead he has created woman out of the body of man to let us know that yes we are a part of each other and no we should not be divided (Mark10:6-9). We have to do our parts as man and woman (God lead) to make sure that both the man and the woman are content with each other and that they have each other's best interest at heart without a shadow of a doubt.
My brothers in Christ let's not disrepect our ladies and remember they are also "heirs to the throne". We need to start treating them like the queens they are. They are more than just a beautiful face and and a nice body, they are also the source of life and a shoulder to cry on when we need encouragement. Remember that the Word was birthed through a woman. Our women should be lifted on the highest pedestal and complimented daily. Sure they can be mouthy sometimes, and will let you know what is on their minds, but believe me its all out of love. We need to be one - woman - men and leave other men's women alone! And you down low brothers cut it out. Can I be real for a second? That's nasty and it has no mansion in the Kingdom of God and that is all I have to say about that. Stay encouraged my bretheren change is gonna come.
My sister's in Christ you know I can't forget about yall. Stop holding us accountable for things another man has done to you in your past . We are not perfect, but if you have a man who strives for perfection stop calling him sorry. We know that yall desire to have strong men of God, but with that you have to allow him to be that man that God has blessed you with. Like I said before, being independent is good but don't let it get you to the point of a closed ear and a hardened heart. Let that man treat you like a queen, let that man love you with his all (a true man of God will), talk to him and tell him what's on your mind. On the flip side you don't have to deal with a joker beating on you and cheating on you either, I can't tell you how to deal with that, its your choice. Oh yeah, sisters "leave each other alone", catch my drift. Two women cannot reproduce.
As I close, remember to love as God loves us, He paid the price out of love. Let's do this love thing the right way, whosever reads this either call or go home and ask your signifacant other to forgive you and let them know that they are forgiven, and let's express love across the nation and the world. God loves you and so do I.
