Married Couples act Godly towards One Another ( REPOST )

This Week's Message: Married Couple act Godly towards One Another ( REPOST )

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.

I remember my great grand mother woud tell me that her and grand daddy would argue sometimes but she would never try to down grade him as a husband no matter how bad the situataion is in disagreement. I would make sure we would make up before going to bed, and sometimess I would pick a arguement so we can make up! LOL.
She would then say never carry that disagreement to bed together but always get God to help me to understand my husband will have to make the last decision with God's help becausse our father in heaven will let him know what to do even if I did not like it.
A marriage will last a long time only if that Godly man feel like a husband and not scared of his wife if he is making decisions of taking care of his love.
Married couples we have to live by God and our elders on treating each other.
With love and respect. You are to be helpers to each other. You should compliment each others strengths and weaknesses. The husband should practice true husbandry over his wife by caring for her and providing her with her needs, to nourish her growth and development as he would his own. In return, she cares for your needs, supporting you in your efforts to provide for and protect the family.
Both of you need to be committed to the welfare of the other and together for the welfare of your family. You should have a common goal in life and beyond.
Put God in your lives as your third partner in your marriage. Praying together for your needs will help you to pull together to accomplish those things that are needful.
You should never have any excuse to argue with each other. Talk through your disagreements with mildness and love and understanding. I know that is sometimes easier said than done. Practice it and it gets more natural as time goes by.
Like my great Grand mother said " make up up and leave the disagreements out the bed " TRANSLATION: Make love and not war !!
