Meditation for the week: "HIS MERCIES ENDURE" 2 Chronicles 33:12-13

Manasseh was one of the worst kings in the history of Judah or Israel - a man who constantly did "evil in the sight of the LORD." He "misled" his people to do evil, brought idols into God's house, and practised witchcraft, sorcery, and divination.God tried to warn him to change, but he "paid no attention." Finally, he had to face the consequences of his sin, and he was captured by the Assyrian army and taken to Babylon. But this judgment changed Manasseh. For the first time, he seemed to take God seriously, and he "humbled himself greatly." The Lord was moved by his repentance and restored him. In the second phase of his life, he served God and led His people in righteousness. The life of Manasseh demonstrates both the holiness and the mercy of God. He gives us His laws, His principles, and His ways. He promises blessings for obedience, but also warns that there are consequences if we disobey. Yet, as God showed Manasseh, His mercy is new every morning. Pride is a destroyer, the difference between Peter and Judas was pride, Peter humbled himself and repented, while Judas was too proud to ask for forgiveness, but rather killed himself. It's never too late to humble ourselves and call on God, He is merciful and compassionate, but we must heed His warnings and seek Him...before judgment comes. Humble yourself and pray - for yourself, your family, your church, and your nation. God is ready to hear, forgive and restore!

"HAVE A MERCIFUL AND FAVOURABLE WEEK!
